I don't think we are just gonna think about Kirby Puckett's career when talking about the greatest people to ever play.

Unbelievable what could of been a career if it weren't for the sudden Glaucoma. I still put him up with the All time greats for MN Twins players. Not too sure about all that other off-field stuff, didnt seem too serious.
    Rip Puck, forever dearly missed.

Only ruined by those who see these guys as role models. They have their own lives away from the field and can love how they want. Where I draw the line is if it's affecting your play on the field. Morally do I agree? NO but we all struggle somewhere morally but if you perform on the field it's none of my business. Tell your children too to stop admiring these men and women just how they play or how they use and display their skills and entertain you. HOWEVER, your children shouldn't need to look past your dinner table to see a hero or someone to admire personally. 🙏🏽 R.I.P. Kirby LEGEND 🫡

I take it your logic doesn't apply to O.J. Simpson, possibly Marvin Harrison Sr. (If you've heard some of the same, dark, longtime rumors about his shady, off-the-field "businesses" in Philly, John Rocker, a admitted, notorious racist in the late 90's with the Atlanta Braves, or Pete Rose, huh?
Who cares if Rose cheated on the game during his career or as a manager with the Reds or that it took him 15 years of constant, persistent liars to admit the truth.
