The rise, fall, and RISE! Rocker is back and stronger than ever! The man!
Who can forget Perez sending a Tiant slurve ball out of the park.
The reason they won so many games was that they had a strong up the middle defense. Best I've ever seen. They also had four leaders that formed a complete team.
@@marktaflinger6348 it’s ridiculous how good the lineup was during their run in the 70’s
to me Aaron is the true homerun king R.I.P
@@irock4u222 me too!
I don't understand how Hoyt Wilhelm isn't on that list.

Funny how I see this right after Jonh's Twitter is back.

Brooks Robinson will forever love be Mr 3rf bsse!
Jose Canseco is the best player ever because he’s the red ranger when he’s not playing baseball !! Don’t believe me huh well here you go: th-cam.com/video/9kXCP-9JhkM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Db_X9ynNDdwRlg5I
This made me like him more.
Miss ya Fonzy comming from a Yankees fan
No one called him a lier.
Today’s MLB has way too many “athletes” and not nearly enough “ball players”.

Mookie is the type of person who learns and plays sports with ease and second nature to him.
Good evening everyone coming up in the ghetto baseball ⚾ was everything to me and E.d was my guy thanks for showing love with this video.
Yeah but he had more fun in those good years than most people in a lifetime.
What a mess.
I found out about Eric Davis in June of '87 in a weekend series at Riverfront against the Padres. I've been a Reds fan ever since and he's still my all-time favorite athlete to this day as I near the age of 50.
@@GaryCedestromIII he was fun to watch!
I was friends with Rod Beck in the early 2000's. He would be in the bullpen as a Red Sox reliever and was good friends with Wakefield, catching him as he warmed up. When he went home all black and blue, his wife knew what he did that day.
He was way ahead of his time, if he said that today he'd be in Trump's cabinet.
💪❤️🫡🇩🇴🙌
I've watched 4 of these so far. Not one mention of Ken Caminiti or Eric Show... RIP fellas.
If everyone was using. It doesn’t matter. He is simply the greatest of all time.
Better living thru chemistry. His HEAD IS HUGE.
Thank you Hard to root against the results. They had a solid 10-year span of results and free-agency was the catalyst...one could say that 70s ball is the best-i d agree because free-agency allowed us to see teams missing just a piece or two could be improved. Of course, by 76, when the As were summarily parted out, it was getting out of hand...by the 80s, Farm Teams were even being traded, lol. The Reds did it right & only Pittsburgh came close title-wise.
@@Burton_aka thank you for the comment!
Thank you for the video.
Imagine how good he could have been If he took training and diet seriously
Grew up with the Big Red Machine. Had a Bench autographed glove. Went to many of the games. My favorite part is when Morgan was on first, the TV would go split screen with the pitcher on one side and Morgan leading off on the other because everyone knew Morgan was going to steal 2nd.
@@jonathanamsden7511 that’s a great team to grow up with!
Decades ago John Rocker was the vaccine for what plagued us today. Unfortunately too many were scared of it and we didn’t get the herd immunity we needed
Growing up near Cincinnati, Davis was absolutely my favorite player bar none. Very low key, reserved, but a killer on the base paths and his defensive CF ability best I've seen. Only two members of the 20/80 club
20/80 followed up with a 30/50. should've been 40/40. Missed over a month of games. That will always bother me. F*** Jose Canseco.
Lol hes rye real life kenny powers
The Reds had a great team in the early to mid-1970s, but the A's had better pitching which is why they were able to three-peat.
We got a one nut, nut. What a ball player. Yee yee ol son
Jared Saltalamachia.
I was 11, growing up in the Philly burbs in 93 and that ragtag, motley crew will ALWAYS be my favorite team. They're even more beloved than the 08 squad because they LOOKED like the guys who took away garbage and drove 18 wheelers. Dykstra, Inky and Dutch to name a few were the everyman team that will never be seen again.
The real life Kenny Powers
Wrong: Goose says his first roomie told him he looked like a goose when he extended his neck so far lookin in for signs. 🤷♂️
Can see why Kruk became popular with fans. He has that vibe of a regular joe who happens to be a great ball player, and just a generally fun guy.
Kruk and the Phillies back then were something else ! Good memories
@@mikeythamason fun to watch!
That was even in the news.
