Videos like yours that show off how pretty northern Georgia is. That campsite next to the river has to be relaxing. Great video!

I've camped at every area in this vid. The spot by the river is awesome !!! At 6:45 ... that hill is nothing a 4x4 cant handle. There's a beautiful camp spot at the top, with a fife pit. But I wouldn't recommend solo camping up there. Paranormal scared is something different ... There's weird stories about camping on Tray .... and especially that spot. I WON"T do it again ....

Thanks so much for watching and thanks for the comment! We enjoy North Georgia so much, and being down here in Florida, we wish we could get up there more. Thanks for the tribal knowledge on Tray. That is sounding a little ominous to me. I am glad that’s didn’t stay up there alone!!!

Amazing! Think a rear wheel drive tundra could do that trip?

Yes. I don’t think you will have much trouble. Most of the Georgia Traverse is pretty well maintained gravel roads. It is just a fun and enjoyable trip with great camp spots.

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment. We did get out and walkaround a bit, not necessarily to the exact summit, but the views were amazing!!! Sure was windy on the day we were there, too.

Do you have GPS coordinates to that camping spot on Corbin Creek? looking for a place to camp up there. It has been a while since I have been to Tray Mountain, last time I was there they had the road shut down at the top. Did you travel from Tray Mountain to Corbin Creek Road? I see where they connect on the maps.

Tray mountain road does connect. I came from there. Not issue with closures.

Do you need a reservation to camp at any of these spots?

No. All of the places we stayed in were first come, first served dispersed camping sites!!! We will definitely go back.
