    I just ordered a 1909vdb penny.I'm not really into penny's,but this one fits into any collection. The balls it took to tag this coin w/artist's initial's.
    'BRILLIANT' !!!

    Sean, I truly thank you again for this video. I would've left these coins sitting in boxes, jars and bottles never really thinking of what I had accumulated coin wise until you featured them. I can't choose which one I like the most. What I can say that I am proud of is the bag of coins I put away 25 years ago dates start from 1938 to 1970 and they are beautiful.

There was a miss print of 2009 D dimes. They said they minted 485,500,000 and the real mintage was 47,500.000. They were selling rolls for like 8 to 10 bucks and I bought 30. I went ahead and took them then got home and pulled one 500 dollar stack out and noticed the top new bill was a star note.I began looking thru the stack and all 500 crisp new Bill's were star notes. Then it dawned on me that I had one more 500.00 stack I took it out and low and behold all of them were star notes. All 1000 1 dollar Bill's in sequential order star notes. Distribution sets of 9 with the most valuable serial number from each set of 10 pulled out. Wait 10 years, pop up with the missing 10th bill and tell everyone no sale no matter what they offer.
      It will drive OCD collector heads mad to not have that even 10 in a row, and by keeping the serial number with best sequence, no one will ditch the other nine, cuz the prospect of getting a good single and completing a set would be irresistible.

All I know the doubling was crazy and never seen a coin like that before! The doubling was on In god we trust and Liberty! I was collecting change and turning it in for cash at the time! I was collecting them too for my collection, so I was looking at them and I came across a really red one! I don't remember what I did with it, I probably through it back in the jug! Triple struck on the obverse with the reverse, liberty is off center, the last 9 in 1959 has a straight cut in half tail, and on the reverse of the coin is double struck with another reverse as well as it looks like the die exploded on the first strike giving the memorial a look like it's being viewed through a fisheye lense.

      I also have a couple 83 philadelphia lincoln coins that weigh 3grams on a gram scale. And so far 4 Decent 83d lincoln Pennys that also weighing 3grams meaning that's 95percent copper and 5percent zinc. 83 was the last yr for copper that makes it also valuable says coin guide usa wrote by authier ken potter also authier of world coins. I come across a 40 and 41 weat cent. Another fun fact and interesting look for a 68 lincoln head on the coin is way bigger than any other advrige coin. I come across one. So I looked sure enough. Iv got a few 59 penny's and a 57 weat penny would love to sell but like alot of us are unsure how to go about best of luck in the search pile and enjoy the research and history behind them.

    Hi. I have several different collectable coins how can I have a collectable person to look at the coin? I am in South Carolina.

    • @yemengoto4905
      @yemengoto4905 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marinella Jimenez, there is no collectible person to look at your collection and tell you if they are good. The only way you can do that is to send your coins for grading. Unfortunately, to grade a coin costs a lot of money; more than $50, and you might be surprised to find out that your coin is worth nothing. That's why most people don't want to send their coins for grading. Your coin must also meet the required grade of 67+, 68, 69 and 70 otherwise it is worth its face value, a penny. Don't be fooled by the prices you see in this video or your TH-cam because they are not real. They are auction prices where rich people bid and determine the price and value of a coin. To get your coin to any auction house, you must first pay a huge fee because if your coin doesn't sell, they will still earn. Again, to find out the value of your coins, you must money for that. But you can still sell your coins to collectors at a reasonable price without grading them. I have purchased some ungraded coins from people like you.

    26:17, the 1956 D. How did the separate mint mark get there? I have a similar looking 2000 P Sacagawea dollar coin. There's a ghost of the P above the year. Could be a bag mark, but has the same size and shape as the actual mint mark.

    • @yemengoto4905
      @yemengoto4905 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lobo solo, don't try even to send your coins for grading unless they are almost new. It costs more than $50 to grade any coin and you might find out that your coins are worth nothing. Your coin must have a grade of 67+, 68, 69 and 70 in order for it to sell or get to auction houses. It is very difficult for circulated (old) coins to get that grade. That's why most people don't grade their coins for fear of incurring a loss. The prices you see in this video and on TH-cam are not real. They are auction prices where wealthy people bid for coins and determine the price of a coin. Again to send your coins to auction, you will pay a huge fee because if your coins do not sell, they will still earn, but you lose. Auction houses also do not accept anybody's coins. Most coins are from wealthy people who belong to certain clubs. But you can still sell your coins at a reasonable price to some collectors. If you have some old Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Half-dollars and Dollars' coins you can sell me. If you do have error coins that's fine too. Thanks

    I can't help but feel like that if I ever found a 1943 copper, it would be found with a metal detector... wich is on my list, but dang!... a decent detector is around $800 and up.. But to see what pple have found, not just dirt covered but pple use to bury their savings instead of a bank wich is where a lot of the silver dollar hoards came from I* believe... but they'd be a dream find tho, just imagine the rush of unearthing a jar full or chest like cache of coins someone buried and got left behind... Theirs plenty of stories of that very thing happening. Could only imagine finding a cool time capsule like that... talk about endorphins hittin.... An yes, their is still buried treasure out there pple... just imagine... Never stop dreaming pple, if you do... then you know part of ya is dead inside... If you dream it, you can do it!
