I’m new to collecting and I’m fascinated with the hunt and observation of coins I just want to thank you for the educational information you give us I’ve learned much since subscribing to your videos again thank you
Yes, I do believe these coins are worth looking for and keeping. I have many 1974 pennies in great condition that I have been holding. Thank you JBCOINSINC.
I am happy to listen to all the specifics about the 1974 penny, it’s really a lot of big help to me because I have a lot and now I know what I will be looking at. And just in case you will feature the 1975,1976,1977 Lincoln penny, I will wait for them too. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN.
I am currently on my last of 10 rolls of pennies. To this point I have TWO finds. A 1941P NICKEL and a 1970 D Floating roof penny. Yes, I check EVERY coin obverse and reverse.
@@maryvalentine4051 First off, I am not "Looking" to buy ANYTHING...especially from a reply to a comment I make on a video. Second, this is over a year old. But thanks anyway.
I came across a large metal bucket of gem uncirculated 1974 Philadelphia pennies at an auction a couple years ago. I swiped them up for $300. I’m not quite sure how many pennies there are, but I think the average grade is MS64-65, with some MS67. I am currently going through each penny and separating them between excellent grade and the corroded ones. Since the bucket was metal, some of them art in excellent condition due to corrosion and staining, but the ones that are in good condition, I will send in to PCGS for grading. I wasn’t aware of their immense value in good condition, so thank you for this video!
Good day Sir. I have 2 pcs. US Coin one dollar 1776-1976 witn no mint mark. No scratch & a very beautiful coin. It was given by my sister working in U.S.A. as a Souvenir for me. 10 years ago. I think this is a rate coin. The color of the coin is like silver. Thank you J & B. Coin collector. Thank you sir
O my goodness.... Why yes... Yes I do have this penny. I have a collection of 1974 pennies for the sole reason that that's the year I was born.... What do I do now? Am I rich?
Well, now I'll be going through the containers of pennies I have here & I've got so much to learn. Hope you guys and puppy are doing ok. Huge hugs. Omg can you only imagine how many of us have spent valuable coins before we ever started?
Hope everything is ok, I was all set to watch last night! I save all pennies made of copper. I just wish I could just find something incredible! Definitely worth looking for them!
Very interesting video! I have time now to look at more of your research. Our coin club president was sending us your videos' while our club was shut down due to covid. I have learned a lot. Thanks

I have been collecting pennies for awhile just throwing them in a jug. Tonight my grandson decided to look at the year, so far we got 1940, 1948, 1952, 1959 and every year from 1960 to 1979. I have a couple 1974 but how do I know if they are valuable! I’m praying this kid find some pennies from the 1930’s and before!
My brother in law gave me a roll of light circulation, BU 1974 pennies a couple months ago. I'm going to check these out. Thank you for the timely video!
hello JB coins I love your videos thanks for the great content and all the information just struggling a little bit what the sound of your videos but other than that great stuff thanks again
I have a 1974 D that is in most likely a mint state of 64. I have a 1974 p that is about a mint state 65 maybe. There is little to no scratches on it. It has its original coloring looks almost brandy new.
I saved some 1970’s and they are in pretty good conditions I will check them for sure Thank you J&B I have learned so much from your daily educational videos.
Hey, I have been searching through a bunch of coins that I've gathered through the years. I have some that have been kept in plastic and in VGC. I have no recollection of where I got many of these and some were acquired in misc. lots. I came across a 1974, no mark, penny, in a stapled cardboard holder. It was marked 1974 and I never thought much about it. I just looked at it with a magnifier and it looks to be in perfect condition without any edge nicks, scuffs, scratches or blemishes. Any advise on the process of getting it graded?
1974 Philly is a great year to look thru in pennies, until thiis video I didn’t know about different finishes for SanFran ....and I want to find that elusive aluminum penny
I enjoy the information I've been collecting for many, many years and I always wondered about that one974 aluminum nickel. I'm still looking for the one I might have.I'll let you know
What a crazy coincidence! I found a 74 s in my change yesterday! It's nice shape but not nice enough for it to be graded. Love the info about the aluminum. I'm not buying the private collector story either 😆.
I just picked up 2 uncirculated boxes (with the holes) of 2019 Pennies. Are they worth my time to open or should I sell or turn them back in? Thanks!!!
I opened a penny bank roll last night and found a 1974 D penny in great condition, with a strike through from one side through his face to the other side of the coin.
I have one really good 1974p but I believe it is a MS60 or a little better. I do have more to go through. I love the information you give and I am going to continue watching. Maybe I will get lucky!
Funny this video comes out when I am currently hunting a box of pennies. I always keep pennies that are in excellent shape and shinny no matter what the year. 😉
I actually have several original rolls of 73D and 74D that I have had since spring of 74 and I have never been thru them looking for errors. I know I’m going to have to look soon.
I recently went thru a lot of my Penny's ,,,6 in total...all them are high grade and 1 of my 1974 looks as if it where a brand new one...what is your opinion on selling these
As always J&B you blow my mind. Luckily for me I don’t mind at all. I have a story behind why, but I’m not going to tell it publicly. Another great Video.👍🏻💰
Great video! Love the Lincoln Cents from the 70s. Actually came across a 74 ddo in bad shape last night crh. So cool this video comes on. Lol. See you all on the next show!
I have several 1974 pennies that came out of a box. But I'm sure they're not in that condition. Still looking at all the pennies through my microscope. Did not know the aluminum penny even existed. Hope you're feeling better
In all seriousness I’m a coin roll hunter. I asked for a mixed bag of customer rolls and bank rolls. After getting home I noticed two rolls from a major bank that has long since gone out of business. I know now I shouldn’t have or probably didn’t need to open them. But I did. Inside were all pretty much brand new 1974 Lincoln cents. They literally sparkled. When it comes to grading why wouldn’t a lot of folks go ahead and get these brilliant uncirculated coins graded? My local coin shop proprietor isn’t the nicest guy. He couldn’t be bothered with some of my questions. I have looked over these coins in both natural light and under a light with magnification. There are some with practically zero blemishes whatsoever. Any feedback would help on whether or not I should consider getting one or two graded?
I knew they were valuable but not that valuable but I do have some mint sets that I put in my collection. Also how or you feeling hope you or all better will keep you in my prayers thanks for all your info you the best
Wow I love all the information I have been getting from your videos, I have just recently become a coin collector, and still have a lot to learn, but I have a 74p and a 74s uncirculated, should I get them graded?
