Her Major in University was French Language and History! She is also from time to time a university Professor in Performing and Vocal Studies and a published Author of several Fantasy Novels! She is well rounded. She also very religious and of excellent Character, her Husband and her have a floor in the family home. His Parents are both Ministers and share the duties of being her managers ! She Love them and her situation :-)
As you may know, this song is especially beloved by the French people and Celine Dion's Eiffel Tower performance was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Sohyang studied French in college but has claimed that she could not speak it. Yet, here we find her confidently presenting this classic song in French in her usual respectful and flawless manner. She also did not claim any knowledge of Spanish, yet she sang several Spanish favorites beautifully on the stop-off in Spain. She truly is a musical genius and obviously has a way with Linguistics as well. This lovely lady also majored in modesty and kindness. Cheers.
I really wonder if she's known of to Kenyan. She was already married and the vocalist in a CCM band when she was 20, and as you know, she was also a cancer patient at the same time. So I suppose she had to drop out of the Univ. where she majored in French literature. Maybe that's why she said she couldn't speak French at all. Btw, Isn't this a world-famous song sung by Edith Piapp? Listening to her sing, you'll know that So Hyang's French pronunciation is not bad enough to interfere with immersion, but here she composed the song mainly with her forte breathing, emotion, and vibrato. No matter what song she sings, her breathing and vibrato are really amazing.
