Tennessee totally destroyed Miami in the Sugar Bowl...I believe it was 1985! The SEC Championship game with Auburn, was not a great game for Tennessee. But, somehow they won it for Peyton!
BTW you could get twenty plays from the 1998 season alone. Several could come from the opening game road victory against Syracuse and Donovan McNabb. Syracuse had a great team. The week following their home loss to TN they hung fifty or more on Michigan in the Big House.

When Dale was playing football for UT he dated one of my next door neighbor’s daughters. Sometimes, when Dale was waiting for her to finish getting ready for their date, he would step outside and hang out with my friends and I for a little bit. Even though we were a bunch of nerdy junior high boys who could do nothing for him, he would throw the football around with us for a while and he gave us autographed footballs and photos of himself. A super great guy.

I am really impressed that you included the Floyd Miley 85 yard blocked field goal return in the Miracle at South Bend game! If that kick isn’t blocked & ran back for the TD, momentum doesn’t shift in our favor & the Miracle most likely never would’ve happened! I was 11 or 12 watching that game & was so disappointed, until I saw that return! My dad said “SO WHAT! They’re still losing by 2 TD’s & a FG!” My favorite team has made the biggest comeback I’d ever seen & beat the top team in the nation! As a little Vol fan at the time, that was National Championship level excitement for me! I’ve never forgotten about Floyd Miley either! I’m really excited that someone has finally included that in their list of all time Vols plays! If he’d had the intelligence of someone like Peyton, Hendon, or Josh Dobbs instead of the w-w-wataboy derrrr😂 he could’ve been phenomenal! I think his brother Rick got the intelligence which helped him to be a solid QB. Casey got the athletic ability which helped him to be a really good QB & Jimmy got all the arrogance & then some! Tennessee was beating Arkansas by 14 at that point and shut McFadden down that day. Also, Casey completed the pass to CJ Fayton, not AJ. I’m sure it was a simple typing error. That play would be higher, simply because it’s Bammer and it was a clutch play. Like others have said, where is Billy Ratliff’s Forced Fumble? Without him blowing up that play against Arkansas, Tennessee doesn’t go undefeated and have the chance to Win a Natty.

Stumble and Fumble should be play number 1. Billy Ratliff called it in the sideline before the defense went out. Said he’d get Tee the ball back. Without that play the Natty Doesn’t happen and Peerless don’t catch that bomb against FSU.

However I think we should always take the opportunity to recognize the best TN play ever which ironically was made by a player from the other team when the guard for Arkansas stepped on his QBs foot causing the fumble when they could have ran out the clock to end our undefeated season and national title run. LOL.

Stumble and Fumble should be play number 1. Billy Ratliff called it in the sideline before the defense went out. Said he’d get Tee the ball back. Without that play the Natty Doesn’t happen and Peerless don’t catch that bomb against FSU.

I have to say man I was happy with your list. However I think we should always take the opportunity to recognize the best TN play ever which ironically was made by a player from the other team when the guard for Arkansas stepped on his QBs foot causing the fumble when they could have ran out the clock to end our undefeated season and national title run. LOL.

Holloway was a great player, I just didn't go back that far. I only did the plays within my lifetime. I do have kickoff and punt returns on the other volumes 21-100 just not on the top 20. I appreciate you watching the video.
