Aww..im so happy for you guys..ive always wanted twins and they run in my family but i never had twins, the closest i got was my 2 older girls are 17 months apart and my son and daughter are 11 months apart, i got pregnant just 3 weeks after having my son with my daughter, So my son was born Dec 07 2008 and my daughter was born Nov 3 2009, they are the same age for about a month each year..And i have 5 kids all together..But its pretty cool, exspecially watching them grow up so close in age..

No, identical twins have nothing to do with how many sacs are their. Identical twins is the same egg divided in two and fraternal twins is when two eggs is implanted by two different sperms.

It’s been one of the most challenging but amazing blessings I could have ever experienced in my life. My husband and I just adore our boys who will be turning 1 this Saturday. Same thing happened to me. We got to discover TWO babies when I went in for my first appointment at close to 9 weeks. My doc also did mine so it took her a moment to confirm 2 babies. So I saw the babies first and went dead quiet before the tears fell out 😂. I was freaking terrified!!! I scared the crap out of my husband when I did that 🤣.. my fraternal twin girls will be 2 soon. Thank god no nicu time for them and we all went home together 🙏

I found out that I was pregnant with fraternal twins back in early June. Since then I have done so much research and learned that identical twins aren’t hereditary. They are a wacky but wonderful phenomenon.. though fraternal twins are hereditary. But only matters if they’re on the mothers side. My doctors explained it to me this way, “Mom determines how many, Dad determines what kind.(gender)” What was shocking to me was that we had no idea twins ran in my family because the last set were 4 generations ago! It was a huge surprise! Congrats on you’re little surprises!!

Congratulations! How exciting...TWINS!!! I’m a grandmother of twin boys. There going to be 3 in September. And there the best thing ever. I’m blessed as mother and grandmother. And when I went with my daughter to her first Ultrasound the technician asked her “Is this your first ultrasound?” With a look of like OMG. And of course we were thinking something was wrong. So my daughter was yes this is my first ultrasound and she says “ Oh cuz I see 2 heads” and I just cried and left the room in shock and went to the lobby and called my husband right away Lol....I wish you and your family all the best😊🎉🧸

My Twins are 7 in the first grade and even though they look identical they are fraternal twins and their bus driver this year realized on the SIXTEENTH(16TH) DAY OF SCHOOL that they are twins! I held my breath until the sonographer said “I have something to tell you!” That was 6 years and 38 weeks ago. Now I just found out I’m expecting #3, assuming it’s just one in there!

harsh2945 it isn’t important for a lot of people. Knowing earlier doesn’t affect a lot of people’s decision regardless. Also, with my last pregnancy I didn’t have any of those test done until I was 16wks.

I’m new to your channel and I’m a first time mom to twin boys!! I carried my boys full term and my water broke. Had a natural delivery and all. It’s been one of the most challenging but amazing blessings I could have ever experienced in my life. My husband and I just adore our boys who will be turning 1 this Saturday.
I breastfeed them both until 11 months. They are both walking and in EVERYTHING.

Same thing happened to me. We got to discover TWO babies when I went in for my first appointment at close to 9 weeks. My doc also did mine so it took her a moment to confirm 2 babies. So I saw the babies first and went dead quiet before the tears fell out 😂. I was freaking terrified!!! I scared the crap out of my husband when I did that 🤣.. my fraternal twin girls will be 2 soon. Thank god no nicu time for them and we all went home together 🙏
My tech said “I think my camera is multiplying let me check how many babies are here “.. I was laying there like excuse me what !? haha now my twins are two and a half 💕💙 get ready mama!!!

Kira Batey I was just stating. My Grams sister’s both had identical twins. Her brother had fraternal twins, my Grams was the only one who didn’t have twins and 7 kids.

I found out that I was pregnant with fraternal twins back in early June. Since then I have done so much research and learned that identical twins aren’t hereditary. They are a wacky but wonderful phenomenon.. though fraternal twins are hereditary. But only matters if they’re on the mothers side. My doctors explained it to me this way, “Mom determines how many, Dad determines what kind.(gender)” What was shocking to me was that we had no idea twins ran in my family because the last set were 4 generations ago! It was a huge surprise!
