All that white snow makes your video very refeshing to watch! Good that you had wisdom to turn back and not get lost! Nice to see you have a supportive friend with you too! 😘 Sasha
Thank you Sasha, snow capped mountains are always beautiful to enjoy & yes, preference is solitude but occasionally do enjoy the mountains in the company of others! 🫶🏻 😊
Great cinematography on this episode. 🙂👍🏻
Thanks Chris, lovely to hear you enjoyed the video 😊🫶🏻
The big Cheshire cat grin on your face says it all, stunning landscape, I too love the eariness of mist and fog, the small sounds amplified just wonderful, those clouds just hanging there, amazing.
Also happy you shared this as I was due to hike there couple weeks back but did my back in at work so wouldn't have made the drive up from Plymouth let alone hike, but I had a great view from my sofa so thanks for sharing, take care 😀
Nothing like a bit of snow to bring out my inner child & had plenty to smile about as the sun was shining for what seemed like the first time this year! 😊 Sorry to hear about your back Andrew but pleased you enjoyed the video, hopefully you can make the trip soon 🤞🏻
@@shefreelyroams thank you Christine, take care 😎
Hello Christine, you have such a lovely and relaxing smooth voice 💗 its sounds like it can be melting chocolate
Thanks Daniel, lovely to hear you enjoyed the video 😊
A good share and fab videogrphy 😊
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video 😊🫶🏻
so beautiful in a winter cloak.
Thanks Gary 😊
Great to feel the crunch of snow beneath your feet. Best wishes on your next escapade!
Exactly that, such a good feeling & thank you! You too 😊
Awesome walk, you looked warm in that big jacket 😍... not a drop of snow here...
Thanks Phil, It was super cosy 😌 & that’s a shame, might be next Winter now for you there..
Amazing video Christine! Even though its March its got that Christmasy fell to it with the snow coming down and sprinkling all the trees. Looks magical 🥰 A brilliant weekend to be on the fells and good to see you having so much fun 🙂
PS: I knew there would be cake somewhere along the way😂All the Very Best
Thank you Tony! It definitely felt like proper winter with all the heavy snow falling whilst out and about, as you say very magical! Nothing like a bit of snow to bring out my inner child 😀 how did you guess!? it's the first thing I make sure to pack every time I set out for a day in the fells, got to keep energy levels up!
Great memories of 🛷 on Corn Du years ago. Great video.
Thank you 😊 nice to hear you’ve got fond winter memories of the place, can’t beat snow capped mountains 😍
Great video, stunning views!
A small note. As I am not familiar with the routes or National parks you are walking, could you perhaps add map of the National park you are in and highlight someway the route you are taking? It would greatly help me understand :) Thanks!
Thank you Isak, lovely to hear you enjoyed the video! & yes very good point, I can definitely try and include map routes in my future videos to make it clearer for those less familiar with the National parks where possible 😊
That was brilliant. 👏👏
Good idea going up twice.
It looked so beautiful.
I went up on the Monday afternoon.
A day after you.
Have a look at the difference when I went😂
It was brutal.
Yours is so relaxing.
You are great at editing and always have a lovely smile.
Thanks for another great watch.👋
Thank you Jamie 🫶🏻 definitely was beautiful after the snowfall, nice to hear you managed to enjoy it too before it all melted away even if the conditions were slightly different! Thanks for the continued support, glad you enjoyed the video 😊

Nice.
Hope to see you back out again soon.
Haven't seen you at a bothy yet.
I've stopped for food at 3. Staying the night soon.
People watch those, lots of people. If you do you'd have loads of views on that.
Be nice to see.
I'm a new small TH-camr have a look at how much more people have watched those ones.
Really enjoy your vids.
Thanks.👍
Scenes 👌🏻
Cheers Kieran 😊
Stunningly beautiful video. I live in the North West of England and have yet to venture to the Brecon Beacons. I'm hoping to soon since seeing your beautiful videos there x
Thanks Nicola 😊 definitely worth a visit, so many beautiful walks to enjoy! 🫶🏻
Hi Christine,
Nice to see you enjoying a bit of snow on the Saturday, especially as the last few days have been much more spring-like. Shame you had to turn back, but safety first. Have you ever experienced a total white-out? I have, it’s quite a spiritual experience to totally loose horizon, the snow exactly matching the colour of the sky. What a contrast Sunday was and to see you both enjoying the scenery and there was a “homemade but not self-made” cake. I wonder if your friend qualified for a piece or did you scoff the whole box full? 😀😂🥞
Cheers
Graham
Thanks Graham - was really nice to enjoy a bit of snow before the winter season comes to an end! Not a total white-out in the UK but in the alps yes, as you say, very surreal experience! & that’s a very good question, I recall sharing a little of the second slab don’t worry - the friend qualified on the basis of them making it! Hope you’ve had a lovely Easter & thanks again for the support 🫶🏻😊
@@shefreelyroams Very interesting, so the entrance exam to coming along on one of your walks 🚶♀️ is the ability to make scrummy cakes 🎂 🥮 🍥 🥞 🧁 🍰
Lovely video Christine, stumbled across your channel by chance and subscribed. You were lucky with the snow. I live in Sussex and try to get to the Brecon Beacons a few times each year as it is my nearest mountain area.
It was the right choice to turn back as there is much less margin for error in winter.
Good luck with your channel 😊
Thank you, really lovely to hear you enjoyed the video & yes the snow was quite a surprise for March! Definitely a beautiful mountain range to have as your closest, lots of options for hiking, good to hear you manage to make the most it 😊
Gorgeous gorgeous. You have such an eye for your films and this was a pleasure to watch as always. Please come and climb the modest Moel Famau in Denbighshire on new years eve night, as its a blast. Me and a friend did it few years back dressed as a pantomime horse.
Thank you Paul, so lovely to hear you're enjoying the videos, really appreciate the kind words on filming 🫶🏻 Moel Famau is definitely on my bucket list for this year - New Year's sounds like great fun though with all the dressing up!
Were all seven layers worn? It would be an interesting rule of thumb if it's one layer per 100m above sea level 😂
Thanks for the snowy video. It emphasises the spring like day outside and that we've nothing to fear about ending up in winter again... after a fun summer, of course!
Happy to say that only 6 layers were eventually required so packed just the right number for the trip out! But as you say that would be quite a rule of thumb, would suggest almost 90 layers would be needed for Mt Everest!! Thanks again for watching & continued support, pleased you enjoyed 😊
Absolutely stunning 👌..all those views, snow and a brownie...perfect. Another beautiful video Christine..top notch 😊
Thanks Andrew 🫶🏻 it was definitely the perfect weekend outdoors, glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Where did you start your walk the second day Christine? Great vids!
Thanks Paul, lovely to hear you're enjoying the videos! I started the walk on the second day from the upper Blaen y Glyn Isaf car park. I've got an upcoming video of this full central peaks horseshoe circular walk from there that should be up on the channel in next few weeks so might be helpful if looking to plan a hike 😊🫶🏻
