How to submit videos to me!
In order to make it easier to submit crystal opening videos to my channel I'm now partnering with Evizone!
Evizone is a secure messaging and file transferring system that aims to help both individuals and business’ securely and efficiently transfer their files. Evizone supports a multitude of multimedia files and has reached out to me, to help with all the submissions I get on a daily basis from you guys.
I’ll have a link to Evizone’s landing page on my streams moving forward and If you want to submit anything from openings to gameplay, I would love to chat with you there.
You can get in touch with me in two ways:
1) You can sign up for an account at the bottom on the landing page.
a. You just need to enter your gamer tag with (Prof Hoff) in brackets next to your in game name in the company bar just above where you enter your email.
b. Evizone will then create a chat with me where you can share up to 10 GBs for free (once the space is full you can delete older files, so no hidden fees)
2) If you already have an Evizone account you can click on the orange + circle at the bottom left of the system and create a chat

I want to thank Kabam they are helping me with my addiction of the game, I am also playing less😊
People want to talk about skill. This game is barely about skill. You will have to burn through all your units and a couple hundred dollars every time you want to do advancing content. It's literally designed this way. Skill be damned, most of it is just attrition and after buying enough revives, the game will allow it. Once you quit the game and spending money on it, it seems a bit like just an addiction. I hear you guys talking about dropping so much money and it seems so odd. But I was all for it and spending thousands myself. All for a game that hates me and my values. No thanks, I'm not going to support Kabam people ever again.

Exactly the forum message the other day when the mod said « people just restart the fight, then solo it and get the reward with zero cost for their account » this was the définitive admission that this app is nothing about skill.
I'm an og player finding myself picking up the game less and less.
What pisses me off is that when I’m playing battle grounds and I just get destroyed by people with like full rank 5 ascended decks because they buy the ascension dust from the mcoc store and also I have nothing against fintech i hope he is doing well but anyone who thinks that it is a skill issue to use tigra and Jabari panther for the full grief incarnate is crazy
I’ll say this again but the biggest mistake Kabam has made recently is removing the revive farming. I was a decent spender. I’d almost always buy the majority of the deals on the sales events. I’d buy some early access bundles when it was a favourite champ of mine or I needed some boost top ups. I’d buy the monthly eq offers for revives and potions and then do some revive farming to get a good stash before trying to tackle the hard content. Now though, Kabam can get stuffed. I didn’t buy one offer from the valentine sales. I won’t buy anymore early access bundles. I’m not even interested in doing the bullcrap content they are putting out. We had necro (hard), WoW (hard) and now the content creator challenges (also hard) one after the other. I have a 6.7mil account and could throw some revives and either do wow or the challenges but I’m not going to because Kabam are greedy bastards and they’ve lost my interest in the game as a whole.
I almost went the same way as the guy in this video. I’m basically only staying in my alliance because of the friends I’ve made there. I’ll do war and aq/raids but no way I’m doing any bg’s or any of the other garbage they’ve put out anymore. Totally ftp from now on
I absolutely agree with his message. I am burning out with this game, clearing monthly event content, AQ, Battlegrounds, AW, incursions and Arenas. I don’t have the time to invest like the people who play hours upon hours every single day. And if I want the rewards like, glory, loyalty, battleground points, incursion shards because I want the deathless champion, then I have to push through. The funny thing, arenas is actually my favorite part because it is how I practice with new champions. But arenas is time consuming, probably the most time consuming aspect of this game. But anyway, there will be more people dropping out soon. The rich get richer, meaning the Valiant players will get all the resources to continue ranking up 7*’s while someone who is Thronebreaker will never get those resources, and won’t have a 7* roster to compete with them unless he spends his units on revives and potions to progress in storybook content, but that too is time consuming. Prof, when u get married, and if u have children, u will understand that u simply will not have the same amount of time to play this game as u do now. I work probably 50-60 hours a week. I have a family and woman I deeply love and I have parents who are deteriorating in health and I help them as much as I can on weekends. But this game is my break or me-time activity, but retirement from the game is an idea in my head almost everyday, and everyday I try to quiet that idea and keep pushing but I know, I am not making the same amount of ground that paragon / valiant players are making. Retirement seems inevitable soon.
I know many OGs who are tired of Kabam's BS, the constant fear of a champ you have worked for to rank up being nerfed, the input issues, all the bugs not being fixed unless it hurts Kabam's bottom line and now the AI acting the way is acting and Kabam saying they haven't done anything to it when obviously they have, we as a community endure a lot, I'm not shocked when a very old friend says they are leaving the game anymore, i completely understand them a d it will get worse. Not looking forward to that game changing announcement on March 1, at all

Thanks Prof. Always appreciate your videos. I don't want to complain too much simply because I still play the game daily. If I'm THAT unhappy I need to stop playing. I agree with the points made in this video however. It's becoming more and more frustrating. I'm not a top-end player and I'm okay with that. I don't spend like I used to because Kabam just continue to show that they don't care unless we're spending lots of hard-earned money. It's a fun game. It used to be a lot more fun. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for keeping it real. Keep it coming brother.
The ai that is able to do what is impossible just to shut you down
I watched Seatin open up all those crystals today and thought of myself, four or five years ago, I could still probably compete with that. But there is no chance I could compete even after my 8 or 9 years into this game.
It is the new normal to spend 500$ in offers every two months.
I don’t play BG and Incursion. I play AQ, AW, SQ, EQ. That’s more than enough. I spend ($5-$10) a little. I think if you don’t burn yourself out and stay away from loading your credit cards you should be fine. What’s the end goal? Enjoying a mobile game or is the a profit to be made? I play for fun!

Well said BG! I’ve been spending for 9+ years, weekly and all big spending “celebrations”! Kinda over the money sucking AI content. No fun always spending to keep up, loosing and loosing to the born rich accounts😂I worked years on this account but the mental and daily stress is not worth it. Used to be fun, now most of my friends are done and I’m near it. Keep your people happy Kabam! Not everyone is RICH! Be kind to ALL and you will Win, if not, time will tell!!💯
I'm just getting tired. This game used to be fun. But now there are so many things that need to be done when you are in an alliance. It feels like another job just to keep up in the limited time I do have. I've been around since the start and it has been and only gets worse each year with having to spend to really get anywhere. I've got to that point where I've really been thinking about stepping away as well. Just not as fun as it used to.

This is exactly why I can't compete in BGs. Been playing 7 years but havnt done necro. I get matched with even uncollected accounts that have more 7 stars than me. I can't spend in the game so I can't compete!
The commenter mentioned isnt wrong: the game for me is turning into a daily thing im loathing to deal with as more of a hindrance than fun. Gaming tastes and priorities are just starting to change for me for MCOC
9 years I’ve been playing. Some of that at a very high level. The game has changed. Gone back in some aspects, got better in others. I remember when kabam mike was a teenager.. Bottom line and I feel from my experience I can talk about this based on huge evidence and hours played. I’ve spent £1,000s but now I’m getting bored. Never happened before. Just boring. I am not going backwards. It’s becoming a grind. Something I’m obliged to do n stead of looking forward to doing. The new ccp content from Mike and legacy etc. If kabam had released that the comm7nity would go mad but put loved names to it and it’s sort of ok. These lads got used and abused. They don’t see it. Maybe I’m wrong. Anyways Shane love from the UK but this is getting really old now. Love what you’ve done for us all mate. Respect.
I log in every day, get the login rewards, help alliance requests and logout. Sick of wasting 20 revives on trying to finish some content to try and get valiant.
Yeah, I feel like that with a lot of content other than BG's. AW, Raids, WoE if you're not able to have the right 7*'s and have them ranked it's going to drain your resources. It's kinda sucking right now, the only reason I'm in an ally is for the alliance events/ energy help 😅
I personally have hated battlegrounds from day 1 lol, but that's not really the reason why this game is no longer fun. All of the content is tedious and annoying to me. I've been FTP (well, mostly - caved in the early days maybe 6 years ago to buy some 4* champ deals lol), Paragon currently, just waiting for T4s to get some rank 3 7*s. However, I am only playing because of the community as you say - mostly my alliance mates. Honestly just been waiting for my alliance leader and friends there to quit so I can as well lol. Loyal to a fault over here. But story content is boring - event quests and side quests are all the same. The newer challenges are just way too long and tedious. It's more of a chore and burden to keep playing and progressing rather than the enjoyable game it once was.
BG is really more dependent on match-ups and draft choices rather than skills since the window to level up depends on that 3rd/5th straight win opponent and if you are able to draft the right counters for the fight. I can sense an algorithm deciding which opponents you play and it's very much 3 with stacked champs then 3 with those who may even have 5 stars in their roster. So you basically have to win 2 straight before that 3 easier opponent stretch begins and there's your window. Still there's no counter for playing someone who has a 7 star Bulleye, Maestro, OG Hulk, Photon, and 7 ascended top champs, or KarateMike showing up. 🤙
I am an OG player who took a break but im back now and am Paragon. Playing this super casually in an alliance with my friends with 1bg war and aq, just getting enough mats to rank up the champs we want and shittt
Valiant and killing farming revives just killed everything now.
I've noticed that the Sunday $5 TB & $5 Paragon crystals RNG have stopped giving 6* champs. I spend here and there... usually on Sundays for those 2... I'm probably not going to spend anymore.

Kabam Lost alot of ppl in Game Economy they also would say they couldn't do certain things but then release these massively OP Cash and Unit Deals with extra Units and Revives
I don't see this issue when it comes to BG. I didn't play but once last season. The most I played is when they gave titan shards at the end for my first 7* titan crystal. However, I have played a little more this BG season.
PVP is not about skill, its about your roster.
Idc your MSD, if you match with someone with double your account, youre going to lose. There wasn't PVP when the OGs started playing, so i can understand quiting
I hate Battlegrounds with a passion and haven't done them since the first season. I'll only do one round every season so I can contribute a few points to get all the alliance milestones. Battlegrounds is trash and with the A.I as horrible as it is I can't bring myself to play them.
I retired 3+ years ago. Top 15 account in a top 5 alliance. Around $5k into the game. Don't know how you stuck around when we left so long ago.
I have to say, I disagree with a lot of some of the things and takes on situations that you make videos about. I disagree with the attitudes that alot of middle to higher middle range players have. Wanting to get the samething as high tier players get simply because they want it. I personally fit into that class you mention, ftp, can't and won't spend the units for necro, didn't have the right champs for it when revive farming was a thing etc etc. I don't mind facing monster accounts in BGs, when BGs was decided by skill. When the AI wouldn't light intercept you like crazy in a meta where you are required to intercept in order to throw specials. I'm not great, but I am not terrible. However, I don't expect to have everything handed to me. One thing I do agree with 100% is that BGs is the biggest issue with the game currently. This was the game mode that really breathed life back into the game. I was in a top 12 BG alliance, but left because of the frustration with completing. Again, not because of bigger accounts as while yes, those can and are an issue at times, but these metas that require specific champs or crazy nodes that have you monitoring everything that you are doing and an AI that will work against (yes I know it's supposed to, but it goes a little insane at times) at every turn has really taking the life out of the game mode. It's a shame too, because BGs could really have saved the game, but some of these decisions Kabam makes just don't make any sense to me at all.
Nothing ever comes close to the feeling of being cheated by getting an early access hero which you 'pay' for and then later run the risk of it getting rebalanced (NERFED)
Was a decent spender and a player of 8.5 years but this approach was so unethical and absurd that I completely stopped spending and went F2P

I don't do BG and have no plan's to do it plus I'm not going to keep up with the Whale's or anything close I'll just do what I enjoy in game without pressure or pressing for achievement which only means cash need's to be spent for said achievement,,,yeah right
I don't think it's fair to say battlegrounds is what is breaking the game. It's the first competitive game mode in what was previously player v AI. It's understandable how some players feel burned by battlegrounds, it can be brutal. Chasing new champions isn't helping. It used to be we didn't need the lastest champions fully ranked up to have fun, but we do in battlegrounds. And this chase is tempting more to spend and leaving those unwilling feelings left behind.
I've taken this bg season off and have enjoyed the game a bit more. I think what is making og players upset and burn out is the constant chase. And I guess you're right to say that's focused around bg and the offers. Nuanced point maybe, but I think it's the players failing to step back from their competitive spirit and balance their enjoyment of mcoc with pushing to compete in mcoc.

Battlegrounds has good gameplay. Battlegrounds is a terrible fit for MCOC.
MCOC is a "pride and accomplishment" simulator. Its strength is in giving players a pay augmentable play system, that replicates playing a robust game and being in a big gaming community, and that makes them feel good.
Battlegrounds (for most people) is a "shame and failure" simulator. Its weakness is in forcing most players into being farmed by higher pay accounts, that replicates playing a rigged game and being used by a game community they are excluded from, and that makes them feel bad.
It's always dangerous adding a new mode to a game. Even modes with good gameplay, may be a bad fit for a game.

I started bad this bg season losing consecutively for like 2 days I was pi**ed I didnt play for like three weeks. Then I got some ceo luck pulls lately so I decided to go play battlegrounds again then suddenly I'm winning eight in a row. 😅😂😂
Well why is battlegrounds so important, it's a game just play what you like and there's always monthly events you don't have to do all content to have "fun"

Kabam is potentially forcing players to spend. Bc if you don't then you will not be able to keep up. I've relied on my skill for a long time and it's just been way too much lately for me to do so. I make it to mysterium in bgs on a regular basis and now I'm just struggling to get there bc a lot of accounts are just way too big for mine. #mingmow is my game name and when I do win I get friend requests and then when I accept I get called a cheater lol. It's become a joke to play the game these days and kabam literally destroyed a very good game and should be ashamed of themselves
Just not fun anymore. 8.3 was actually fun even although it had mediocre rewards. I’ll take mid rewards for enjoyable gameplay anyway!
You make this video EVERY SEASON. You’re facing lower accounts because you are staying where your level of account doesn’t belong. Most accounts of your size have been in gladiator circuit.
Not sure if you are doing this purposely but some do. They stick in victory track to beat up on smaller accounts.
You can choose not to play Battlegrounds. There is AQ, AW, BG, Incursions, story contents, arena, event quest, side quest, Necro, WOW and other challenges. Many game modes do not require top of the top roster to have fun.
I also do not understand the complain about the lack of T4A. If more is available, the whales will just advance their account even more. The gap will be even bigger. It is a good thing that T4A is really hard to get.
Kabam has ruined the game with 7 stars. These annoying r2 7 stars are making BGS unplayable. Im not spending money, and I can’t compete. I am a vibranium with one 7 star upgraded and i have to sweat every match.
So stay out of bgs if yall don’t like it 😂. A lot of my ally mates don’t even care about it and don’t complain. Raids aq aw arena eq is still what we used to do before bgs anyways.
