And now Supercell realised fake mega boxes are a gold mine because they SUCK, but are super popular and children will buy a dozen of them without realising they're bad. Yeah the most valuable thing i got was rockabilly mortis (i have rogue mortis so this is literally one of the worst skins i could have gotten) and i didn't get the rico skin from the boxes. The game gave me him, but I didn't get neither Gem Rico or Bling Rico.

I picked starr drops. Im not a "new gen player", i started playing in 2019, even before brawl pass era and I can proudly say - boxes are trash. When they were a thing they were p2w, weak luck based progression. You could play a game for months not having a single legendary brawler, but your little 7 year old cousin could get it his first day playing. Nowaday when boxes are "back" and they are event thing, they suck even more. Im not a huge fan of starr drops either but i accepted them and i can tell that they are better than old boxes and the new ones. I really understand you guys out there who picked boxes cuz you got really unlucky in your megabox event opening but it is really selfish to say at least and just know that you would get better reconpensation for that in 60 starr drops than in 10 boxes. Yes, even though super rares give 100 and epics give 200, you have more than double the chance to get a super rare than an epic. The value on screen is how much you would get total from each drop.

I was recording a video (screen recording) how I was opening the 7 mega boxes and 42 Starr drops. I didn’t even realize that I got 102 gems in a mega box until the today lol
I got 107 gems and Coletre from 2 different boxes, but considering that most players have relatively bad luck, I think Starr Drops make more sense. The reward range is not as huge as boxes, making them more fair to everyone (unless you get 60 rares)
The funny part is that this "mega boxes" are just big boxes and still being like common blue old boxes... They have the greed and fake levels at a really high level!!!

The main point is that boxes drop gems. Even from a million star drops, you won't get a single gem. Plus boxes are less based on luck. It would be something like 100 star drops, I got only two mythics from them. Also, this might be the last box event, or untill anniversary
I would go for star drops only if the HC rate was higher and even so you can get one that sucks. Also, getting a star power or gadget is the same thing, you'll probably get one which sucks or for a brawler you don't really use / like using. Boxes at least gives you gems

Tbh the only thing that made me care about the megaboxes are the gems and the Rico skin.
The problem with the new mega boxes is that they are heavily nerfed compared to the old ones so star drops are better sadly people are blinded by nostalgia and will pick mega boxes over star drops

I picked starr drops. Im not a "new gen player", i started playing in 2019, even before brawl pass era and I can proudly say - boxes are trash. When they were a thing they were p2w, weak luck based progression. You could play a game for months not having a single legendary brawler, but your little 7 year old cousin could get it his first day playing. Nowaday when boxes are "back" and they are event thing, they suck even more. Im not a huge fan of starr drops either but i accepted them and i can tell that they are better than old boxes and the new ones. I really understand you guys out there who picked boxes cuz you got really unlucky in your megabox event opening but it is really selfish to say at least and just know that you would get better reconpensation for that in 60 starr drops than in 10 boxes. Now smth for nostalgia-brainwashed people - just stop, its even more slefish and it really shows how childish you are. Just accept the reality, boxes are gone for a reason. Gambling is bad, and progression in them was junk. Just forget about them and move forward.

Yes, even though super rares give 100 and epics give 200, you have more than double the chance to get a super rare than an epic. The value on screen is how much you would get total from each drop.

from the classic event, from about 10 boxes I got 2 gem jackpots and 1 power point jackpot, so these are pretty cool-
I got 107 gems and Coletre from 2 different boxes, but considering that most players have relatively bad luck, I think Starr Drops make more sense. The reward range is not as huge as boxes, making them more fair to everyone (unless you get 60 rares)

The main point is that boxes drop gems. Even from a million star drops, you won't get a single gem.
Plus boxes are less based on luck. It would be something like 100 star drops, I got only two mythics from them. Also, this might be the last box event, or untill anniversary
I would go for star drops only if the HC rate was higher and even so you can get one that sucks. Also, getting a star power or gadget is the same thing, you'll probably get one which sucks or for a brawler you don't really use / like using. Boxes at least gives you gems
