    The stamps tool in AE is great, however my workflow I always render in Lr to tiff and automatic LRT render to Prores4444 and then do all AE work on that full res proress4444 and export again the final file to same prores4444, as apparently the quality loss is negligible yet it speeds up my workflow, AE on a Mac works faster on prores files than tiffs, and my tiffs get automatically deleted so it’s also ssd space efficient . I guess everyone works differently but it’s good to see what you recommend 👍🏻

      My work flow is similar to yours except that I skip rendering to tiff and import the raw files directly to AE

      I'm doing the same way - so no need for intermediate sequence and extra space on ssd

      @@FalaahNasser that's what I do too, but I'm having trouble with colour consistency since moving to an M1 Mac. Previously, my workflow on both a Windows 10 PC and an old pre-M1 Mac had perfect colour consistency. My M1 Mac is faster than my other machines for most things, but this (slight) colour and gamma shift is a bit maddening, since I work so hard to perfect my colour in LR.

      @@bothhemispheresphotography5031 Yeah, I'm in the same situation as you! I miss my last PC. This shit is annoying me! My AE doesn't have Rec.2020 Gamma 2.4. Any help?

    Thanks for the new video Gunther! I am glad you taught me this earlier, as this is a very helpful tip😃
    Just a question, is there any advantage of the stabilizer in AE compared to DaVinci resolve or it does not matter where I stabilize a sequence in case required?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I cannot compare that directly. It might depend on the sequence - I had good results with both of them.

    hallo Guenther,have you ever do a timelapse with BR&LRT&AE workflow? Are you interested in talking about it?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an instructions page for that: lrtimelapse.com/workflow/adobe-camera-raw-bridge-effects/

    Why export tiffs from Lr? How is that better than just opening up a RAW sequence in Ae? Because of rendering in LRT has to be tiff or jpeg?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In my opinion it's much faster to preexport the TIFs and work on them in AE as opposed to load a RAW+XMP sequence into AE. Also you need to have the exact corresponding versions for AE to interpret the XMP correctly.

    I've always used rec709, what's the 2020 nean/difference?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rec.2020 is mainly for HDR video.

      @@LRTimelapseOfficial And a timelapse is? I've started using 2020, but if it's not HDR is it hurting my timelapse?
