Beautiful home! I love how you arranged that beautiful cabinet in the entryway and the Advent countdown. You can truly see that Christ is at the center of your home and as he should be in all our homes. The village brought a tear to my eyes as I’ve heard you tell the story of the village pieces. So glad your son and his wife have part of it in their home. I miss my parents so much and they both loved Christmas. That’s a pretty puzzle on your table. I love puzzles and have been working on one that has give me a fit. It came from Hobby Lobby and it’s the one that has all the Christmas sheet music on it. Sweet Deena, your home is just so lovely. I love your approach this year to decorating. I seem to do the exact same thing every year but that’s the way I like it. I admire those that can change things and give it a new lock. I also have to say I admire your filming technique. I don’t know if that’s the right way to describe it but the angles you use and the way you film looks so creative. I always love the stack of Bibles in Ronnie’s office. Have you been doing baking this year? I know you like to have goodies for your family. Actually part of my decoration each year are the things that I bake and have available for friends and family. Since I had surgery on December 4 I haven’t done too much of that but Rebecca and Rachel came one day and they baked and I just sat in the kitchen and supervised. It was so much fun. We will all be leaving this Friday, December 20 to go to Dallas to Melissa‘s. We love spending Christmas at her house. She has a beautiful home on a river with lots of things for the boys to do outside. I like to see the puzzle you had on the table. One of our traditions every year is Rachel and I ever since she was little would start a puzzle on Thanksgiving and have it finished by the new year. We continue to do that even though she’s 26 now. i just stumbled onto your channel and beautiful Christ centered decor. enjoyed the tour and loved your ideas. when i read your bio, i was surprised to discover you have 2 boston terriers. i had to laugh b/c i have 4 and wonder how you keep everything clean. i have dog toys and rawhides from one end of the house to the other, in spite of me picking them up every day, not to mention dog beds in almost every room. i have 2 black and white sisters and 2 red and white. i rescured 2 of them and it is a labor of love. when i see boston terrier Christmas decor at hobby lobby, i just have to get it. we also have a gate at our entry way b/c company can enter, close to gate before i open my door and my pets can't run out. want to wish you and your family a very merry blessed Christmas. susan b in south Louisiana

Yes, we have two sisters. Millicent and Brooklyn are their names. We had two rescue boys before them but they are gone now. We just love them so much. They’re pretty spoiled rotten. lol. Oh, goodness, if you go back to when I am coming towards the kitchen or dining room you can see they have pulled a blanket and toy back out. Then there was another shot of Millicent running back to the office with a toy. They have chairs in there that face the window for them. I am constantly picking up toys and asking them why they don’t pick after themselves. Lol. The gate out front is such a life saver. Our girls know absolutely nothing about the dangers outside of it. You can truly see that Christ is at the center of your home and as he should be in all our homes. The village brought a tear to my eyes as I’ve heard you tell the story of the village pieces. So glad your son and his wife have part of it in their home. I miss my parents so much and they both loved Christmas. That’s a pretty puzzle on your table. We have several Nativities our oldest being one we received as a wedding present 42 years ago to a hand knitted one done by great aunt for my first son , one hand made by my boys and a few bought on trips all over the world they are displayed every year all over the house and for friends and family over the season often linger over one or other of then in quiet reflection

Sweet Deena, your home is just so lovely. I love your approach this year to decorating. I seem to do the exact same thing every year but that’s the way I like it. I admire those that can change things and give it a new lock. I also have to say I admire your filming technique. I don’t know if that’s the right way to describe it but the angles you use and the way you film looks so creative. I always love the stack of Bibles in Ronnie’s office. Have you been doing baking this year? I know you like to have goodies for your family. Actually part of my decoration each year are the things that I bake and have available for friends and family. Since I had surgery on December 4 I haven’t done too much of that but Rebecca and Rachel came one day and they baked and I just sat in the kitchen and supervised. It was so much fun. We will all be leaving this Friday, December 20 to go to Dallas to Melissa‘s. We love spending Christmas at her house. She has a beautiful home on a river with lots of things for the boys to do outside. I like to see the puzzle you had on the table. One of our traditions every year is Rachel and I ever since she was little would start a puzzle on Thanksgiving and have it finished by the new year. We continue to do that even though she’s 26 now. i just stumbled onto your channel and beautiful Christ centered decor. enjoyed the tour and loved your ideas. when i read your bio, i was surprised to discover you have 2 boston terriers. i had to laugh b/c i have 4 and wonder how you keep everything clean. i have dog toys and rawhides from one end of the house to the other, in spite of me picking them up every day, not to mention dog beds in almost every room. i have 2 black and white sisters and 2 red and white. i rescured 2 of them and it is a labor of love. when i see boston terrier Christmas decor at hobby lobby, i just have to get it. we also have a gate at our entry way b/c company can enter, close to gate before i open my door and my pets can't run out. want to wish you and your family a very merry blessed Christmas. susan b in south Louisiana

Ha! Yes, we have two sisters. Millicent and Brooklyn are their names. We had two rescue boys before them but they are gone now. We just love them so much. They’re pretty spoiled rotten. lol.
Oh, goodness, if you go back to when I am coming towards the kitchen or dining room you can see they have pulled a blanket and toy back out. Then there was another shot of Millicent running back to the office with a toy. They have chairs in there that face the window for them. I am constantly picking up toys and asking them why they don’t pick after themselves. Lol.
The gate out front is such a life saver. Our girls know absolutely nothing about the dangers outside of it. So, it does help to keep them safe.
