This is not the Bane that Batfleck will face, timeline is about 20 years apart at least. I've not read the comics so perhaps Bane was always huge? Doesn't seem likely to me.

Trax! Even when he has Butch's mind,he is never considered as the smart one. Riddler set him up more than once and he can only be the follower of either Fish or Penguin. He is not the gangster boss material,and Bane is always set as a very smart enemy of Batman.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I'm really just not digging this take on Bane. He looks like a steam-punk cosplayer or a mini-boss from BioShock.
The actor is good, but the costume is soooooo awful.

Shane Garthwaite the cenematic universe is different than the comics. Marvel and DC have both been clear about that.

@Viktor Ptychenko his origin was basically the same except it was in the middle East and they combined his arc with the league of assassins into his origin. Luchador mask wouldn't have worked for the film but other than that he acted like Knight fall Bane would. Despite not using venom he was accurate to how bane was originally personality wise.

@Mark Lucchese Agreed. Luchador bane using a sci fi super steroid wouldn't have worked in Nolan's ultra realistic batman universe. I am just glad Nolan made bane a Genius mastermind(as well as a great fighter ) instead of dumb muscle. So many portrayals of Bane often forget that bane isn't just a stupid overmuscled thug. He is also Batman's match in intelligence

A far cry from her season 1 character. She's had her dud plots, but they really turned her around into a unique and very "Gotham" interpretation of the character.
Seeing that scene makes me miss this show even more when it’s gone.

@@e.l5806 ah well if that's true it could be that the shot is her before she dies, or she for some reason leaves the baby with them but at the moment I can't see her doing that. Or it just might be that the baby just isnt future Batgirl at all.

Bane from the animated series (not new batman adventures) was the worst looking one for me
Although I'm loving this season I feel like if they had 22 episodes it would have been less rushed, really sad to see it coming to an end :(

Fox definitely messed up their original plan. I guess they don't only want full 22 episodes for season five, they might also plan to keep this show longer but since Fox is requiring the cancellation,this is the best they can offer.
I don't know I think they are ending because the writers are just bad they don't know how to make it good. They needed a better team behind this for it to last. Good in parts but just watchable at best.

Pushing a nun, ringing the bell, using the PA system, cracking voice, snapping heads, commanding military, the poetic one-liner about monsters, a hint of sarcasm in "Does anybody else have a problem with orders?"....I like how this Bane has a clear influence to The Dark Knight Rises Tom Hardy Bane while still being it's own creation in the Gotham universe.
I loved Nolan's take on Bane. Such an iconic portrayal and a many great memorable quotes too.

Atleast in nolan's take he was a badass who was also strong and didn't have weaknesses so visible even a 9 year old could beat him if he was thinking straight

This is amazing! Maybe Gotham could have made the suit better but perhaps we will see a more accurate looking Bane in the last episode. Can’t wait!!
In all honesty I kind of like it, I didn't like it at first but it really is growing on me, it's a good different take on the character much like the dark Knight rises version, but there is nothing to say that in the future he can look more like the typical bane we know, that is if they don't kill him.
Only villains in the finale are catwoman, penguin, riddler, and jeremiah
@@darkraider3638 He probably gets more"upgrades" in the future or what theyre putting in his body is a diluted version of venom and he gets his hands on the real stuff so he ditches some of the gear and gains even more muscle

Sucks we are only getting 2 episodes left after this, Season 5 has been the best and most intense season so far
I still got Season 4 #1 but if these last 3 episodes are god tier , S5 might be the best one . But S4 is hard to beat .

They’re not allowed to use Death-Stroke on TV anymore since they’re using him for the movies. That’s why he’s not in Arrow anymore. They weren’t even allowed Bane on TV but since it’s the final season they let them.

No, Alfred’s gonna bet his back broken instead. Bruce will be fine. All Bane did at the end was slam him in the ground, in the quick shot at the end we see Bruce dodging and he wouldn’t do that with a broken back.

Gotham is my TV guilty pleasure. It is the only comic book show that throws canon out the window and it still entertains and amazes each episode! This version of Batman will be tough as concrete when Bruce is ready. He'll be beyond Frank Miller bad-ass!

His look is far from being great, it look it came out from some 1980/1990''s superhero TV show, however the actor who is playing him is doing a pretty good job.
