  • This is why the traditional seal ink paste is more expensive than the office grade ink pads. To get professional quality red ink paste please visit our online store at www.blueheronar...

Amazing, I have a white container filled with the red paste from before I was born and it is still usable with my seal.
The life of that product is amazing.

How interesting...so that is what the fibrous material is in my seal paste; thought it must be silk but no. Victoria and Henry: it is always such a thrill to journey with you to China and and see actual Chinese Artesians and craftsmen at their work. Work done still by hand in the age old tradition handed down with pride...charming. Thanks too to The Guyi Kaiwen Ink Factory for letting you film!

Artemesia is an aromatic, medicinal, common street plant in the Philippines. I never knew it was being used in name chop ink production.

Henry, Henry, Henry, have you still not figured out the gals just (sometimes) let us pretend to be in charge, when in fact both they and we know that they are the real brains of the outfit!
LOL, in fact this reminds me of my own home; you should have simply had your lady/wife(?) do the narration from the get-go. :)

Ah, no wonder this paste is expensive.
I know red paste is the most commonly used, but are there any special taboos against using other colors to apply seals to our paintings?

No. We also carry black seal paste.

is it possible to order the fiber in the US?

I am not sure. You may ask any acupuncturist about Airong fiber because they may use it in their medical practices.
