Good job brother….Armour definitely the winner due to the lower price. I love these smaller startup companies that bring their game and will make the big boys sweat😂
Can ADS tire cleaner effectively clean wheel wells and engine bays? Shine Supply Wise Guy does it all(including wheels) @ 1:1. I can also be used neat for more pop, especially on tires.
I haven't tried ADS tire cleaner yet but CarPro Retyre is the absolute best and most cost effective I've used so far. I know I commented this a while back and you said you'd try it out. I guess you weren't going to buy it after all. Lol. Glad a subscriber sent it to you. I actually like the foaming trigger as it allows me to get all of the product on the tire vs an atomization style trigger. Even on pickup truck tires 35" in diameter with 17" wheels (lots of sidewall) I'm getting a one and done with 4 foaming sprays per tire and 1 or 2 sprays on my brush. It uses hardly any product at all. I wonder if ADS could be used this effectively with their normal trigger. 20 to 24 total sprays per truck with the CarPro foaming trigger on a work truck that goes on muddy bush and oil patch roads is outstanding IMHO. On my wifes car it only takes 2 sprays on the tire and one on the brush after an entire northern canadian winter to get it to be absolutely white foam on the second pass and that's never cleaning the tires off at all throughout the winter. Love your videos and passion for detailing Eddie, I appreciate you!
Maybe I’ll try it like you said , seemed to Need alot of product from Me but - if I do your route it will use a Less product. I do have dark side I’ve been testing and using about to review it - thank you for watching i appreciate you taking the time to comment!
Man I recently got into detailing my own vehicles and I have a bunch of Meguires, Suds lab and chemical guys stuff that I’m sitting on. I was planning on converting almost everything over to P&S but the ADS stuff you have been showing is looking really good and has got me thinking twice about what brand to go with. Maybe I’ll try both 🤔
@@Ecdetails def bro. And for sure, Iv been binge watching a bunch of your videos. Your channel is the truth. Nice work Wes! We did need this video. ADS very nice. Also good to know retyre works always wondered. Can’t wait to see more of Bev s beautiful new truck!
Someone probably already mentioned it, but I'll also note that ADS's gallon is a concentrate, so its value goes up even further. CarPro for sure makes awesome stuff, but you pay through the nose for it. I'll stay an ADS fanboy.
Nice to see that your wife likes the Toyota truck, We owen a RAV 4 Hybrid and really like it. Go Toyota. A tire cleaner just cleans a tire, no matter if it is expensive or less expensive. 🇨🇦👍👍
Can we be honest for a second?? ADS is trying to take down carpro, I feel carpro is the company they used before and they said screw it we are starting ADS. ADS FTW buttttt still love some carpro butttt like you said pricing is the biggest driver and ADS killing it for sure. Shampoo + is foamCity!!! That weight/inflation comment had me geekin!!! EC you da man!!!
Hey bro thanks for taking the time to watch the video - I agree carpro makes great stuff , but for the money 💰 imma buy ads , diy , ethos and have enough left over for some little Cesears pizza 🍕
In the video, around the 2:00 mark, during your first pass in ads, there's no browning. Then, when you move your brush to the CarPro side without washing it, CarPro triggers a browning reaction. After that, when you move your brush back to ads without washing it, you'll notice that's when ads start to show the browning effect because your brush has CarPro residue on it. For me, Car pro wins
Retyre looks like it foams a pinch better but the ADS trigger seems to have a better pull If you're willing to spend the money consistently retyre may be a better choice For value, excellent performance and a great brand as well then ADS
I don't think this was a great showdown because you mixed the products together. You didn't rinse the ADS off the brush before moving onto the Carpro, and then you proceeded to brush the whole tire with the combination of both of them. We didn't get to see the tires dry before you re-applied the opposite product, either. In my opinion, not a rigorous test. I'd still never pay $80 per gallon for a tire cleaner, though. Adam's wheel and tire does a fantastic job even diluted 1:1, and in the rare case I need to go over something twice with it, seems like the extra 10m would be worth it.
lol i’m that bougie cat that doesn’t want a bunch of different brands on my shelf, so because i have carpro products i’d go carpro in this case. and it looks nice when your not all mixed up with a bunch of different bottles. on the other hand wouldn’t buy either one of these because i like products that do both rims and tires, and if when i need to go all the way live i’ll use p&s undressed as a final pass to really clean and remove old dressing for the next. and at at less than $20 for a whole a$$ gallon there’s the real winner 👍🏽🐿️💨
yeah for sure, i always lol when people say if money’s tight get the cheaper. well damn if its really that tight why buy a rubber “only” cleaner then a different one for the rims. get all in one save some real money and have some fun

Because of the dilution, ADS comes out as $15 a gallon vs carpro’s $80. I’d go ADS all day every day
