2 12s on 6K in the GoKart (Video 4): Dual Bass Knob by L.A.F. (How To tutorial)

Now that everything is pulled apart and disassembled, now would be a good time to do some re-wiring. In this video, We'll be installing a dual bass know so that I can control the volume of the Mids/Highs and Subwoofers independently of each other.

Ive had many systems over the years but i kinda always took the easy way out. Mine usually consist of speakers in stock locations on head unit power and subs in back with single amp wiring. I can appreciate you take time to do stuff the right way and explain, surely it will help others.

That deck is sold as 5 volt preout-thats why i purchased it also but its dynoed @ full volume 35. Keep up the ggod work!!

This is a cool idea... but why not just use an equalizer with control for the bass, mids, highs, frequencies, gain, etc.?

Those don’t really operate the same. I wanted the ability to turn the volume of mids-highs, and bass all the way up and all the way down completely independently of each other. You can’t do that with any equalizers I’ve seen.
