- So far so good. I wish the table top would actually go lower than it does but the motor is definitely strong enough to hold a desktop computer and monitors. Plus with the CostCo lifetime return policy I never have to worry about the motors burning out. The unit is very fast as well.
Just incase anyone in 2021 is wondering, the desk is still working great. No issues at all. Desk go up. Desk go down. *to be read in Homer Simpson's Voice*
Any problems with the glass top cracks etc
Thank you! I was so intimidated when I purchased this and was going to pay someone to do it. After watching your video I found i could do it thanks!
Costco here in Victoria, BC Canada have the black one is stock with smoke black glass which I really like. The other thing that I liked about it was the front has a slight curve in it and the motor is very quiet. $499 Cdn. Haven't purchased one yet but sooooo tempted. Thanks for you video review!!
This had been sitting in the box in my basement for a week after my parents gifted this to me because I was intimidated. Watching a couple of minutes of your video showed me how easily and quickly (cut scenes and fast-forward not withstanding) it went together.

Thanks for the great review! I purchased this same one from Costco as well, about a year ago and everything you shared is spot on. I'm actually still looking for a decent chair b/c I'm running into that issue you mentioned
I saw this yesterday at Costco and your video has convinced me to go back and purchase. Thank you!
You won't be sorry, it's a great desk. I raise and lower it at least once a day and no problems so far. My only regret is not getting it sooner.
our company also have this adjustable desk. cheaper. +86 18460362295 WhatsApp No. 18460362295
@@striker1211 I am considering buying this now. How is it holding up? Any problems over time?
Thank you for posting your review. We are buying them tomorrow at Costco.
Thanks for sharing how to adjust the heights and store them with the 4 buttons. appreciate it.
Never seen a better review cheers mate
Glad I bought mine from Costco. It never worked from the beginning. The number for customer service for Tresanti puts you through a rat maze and then hangs up on you. It goes back to Costco today! Not worth the hassle of even putting it together.
On sale at Costco right now fo r $199.
Lambert J. Yup.. just picked one up.. and it is heavy as shit. But works great
I decided to be responsible and wait 2 days to figure out if I truly needed it. All the stores in my area sold out. That'll teach me to be responsible.
Radical Elation well my Costco had it on sale and in stock, maybe it is available in your area now
@@GM_Sanjit_Ramesh now you sadly get it for $330
@@ajproart2 it has a lifetime warrenty, so if you see it go on sale again, you can return it then buy it for the sale price. :)
The bad thing about this desk is the cross bar underneath. It's in the way of your legs and makes it harder to vacuum. If you have hard floor, then shouldn't be an issue with cleaning. I'm so tempted to cut them off.
I prop my foot up on it for comfort, but I could see wanting to be rid of it for cleaning purposes.
One modification I would suggest is to place the controls on the front of the desk, not the top. I have accidentally hit the up and down buttons several times now. The USB ports work provided your USB cord is long enough when the desk rises to full height or you are keeping your phone on the desk which takes up more room.
love the cat test
Love the review. I bought mine 6 months ago and I love it... too bad Costco discontinued it. I was going to buy another one.
I just mine yesterday from costco laval
@@ELLENA5 really.. I don't see it online or in the store in New York.. I'll keep an eye out again..
@@barryliu8 I got it in Canada
Just saw in for sale in warehouse in MN
Just purchased mine 01.08.2022
Excellent stress test with the weights!
You can also use it as white board
You got lucky. The company was only test selling these in limited quantities & at a muuuch lower price than they intend to sell it at in normal retail price. Got lucky and grabbed one in a shop with huge coupons after costco sold out
They're back, $199 Nov 9-16
OhFarha where did you get yours?
th-cam.com/users/striker1211 Does anyone know if it will be on sale this year? 2018 for $199?? I see it in wharehouse now for $299. That's a great deal for it in general, but steep for me. (and i reallllly want one!)
I just purchased this recently and I noticed that while I was charging my phone and adjusting the height at the same time, it disconnects the current from the phone. Once you are done adjusting the height of the desk the current comes back to the phone and starts charging as it should. Is this expected functionality? I was wondering if it happens on your side or to anyone else who has this desk
Yes this is by design. Mine does it too. I believe it said it in the manual too but I don't have it anymore to check it.
striker1211 thanks for replying so quickly! Ill give it another read. Good review btw, helped me decide on the purchase
I just saw this at my local Costco and was wondering how it's holding up since your original posting date? Almost a year now.
I purchased this at Costco, it stopped working after 2 weeks.
@@leatan8331 then just return it you dumb bitch
@@MrOwnage124 Why are you salty? She could have returned it
@@leatan8331 not sure what the issue of yours is, but I watched a video where one wasn’t going up and it had an easy fix...
@@MrOwnage124 There are smart and nice people in this world and those like you who balance it out
Do you think the drawer is large enough to hold a keyboard tray? The lowest setting is still as high as a regular desk; and I like it lower when I sit because of shoulder pain.....Thanks!
Just ordered mine today!!
I just got this desk at way fair for $469.99 (I ended up paying $382.14 because they messed up the first time I ordered it and gave me a discount) the desk actually cost $524.99 but that have it on sale for $469.99 mine is by the brand Twin Start but it is the same desk.
EDIT: I just looked it up on Costco and its $349.99 right now.
what is the scre sizes?
thanks so much. was not sure if I wanted it or not, but now I want one going out tomorrow to get one, so Thanks for your vid
Are we able to write on it with erase ink?
Does anyone know where these can be purchased? We'd really like to get a couple, even if they're used and in good condition.
Costco. They have a new model with a built in wireless charger.
It's on sale again for $199
could you share the link?
@@oleksiig.6040 It was only on sale for about 10 days and then gone. I assumed it would be longer and missed it. It's Costco and I'm on the daily email blast from them, sign up for it.

hey are you selling this desk by any chance
I LOVE MY DESK!!!!
I just got this at Costco, and I like it so far. It has what looks to be an audio jack underneath. Any idea what that is for? There is no reference to it in the manual.
after 2 weeks, H3 and H4 setting on my desk are not working as it should be. When I choose these options: it brings to bottom setting.
If you hold a memory setting long enough it overwrites it (so you can choose your own settings). So it probably got overwritten while down.
Hey, what size are the bolts?
How is the table holding up? Not a big fan of glass top, so wondering whether you still like it.
Would I be able to remove the tray and screw my keyboard tray to the bottom of the desk? I need the tray for my carpal/cubital tunnel while I'll be sitting down with it. PS - it's on sale for $199 at Costco until 11/21/19 for anyone who wants one.
2:31 one of my cords is jammed under that metal plate and I can’t get it out...
Awesome thank you
whats the warranty like for the motor? i read some reviews where the motor poops out. Currently in stock for $330 but it was $199 about 9 months ago. fingers crossed it drops soon
$199 NOW
How do you feel about the horizontal bar under the table? Could you be accidently hurt by stretching your leg?
I put my feet up on it. I've never hurt myself on it.
Do just one more test: set the height somewhere in the middle, and measure the height with the measuring tape. Compare that to the digital display next to the control buttons. You might even try it loaded, and unloaded, to see if the digital display is accurate and repeatable. I don't know if the display is an actual measurement, or a percentage of maximum height.
You caught me at the desk during a home renovation so I have a tape measure handy, my height readout is consistently accurate to the distance to the floor (including the feet thingies). Took it to the top, measured, took it to the bottom, measured. Turned it off/on, took it to the middle, measured. It's accurate. They must use a stepper motor.
I would Love to see a video of typing on it at full extension - i'm worried about how much it will shake at the full height
I just set it to full height to type this and it does cause my monitor to wiggle lol I never noticed before but now I do. I am on carpet too though.
Thanks for the quick test! I have a 27" iMac that's pretty stable, and a cheap LG monitor that is not and with the adjustable desk converter that I'm using now, the imac shakes noticeably while typing. I'm picking this up tomorrow (partially based on your thorough review) and will see for myself how it works out.
I got one too and it's awesome! I stand with a wobbleboard and it's even better
Nice review. Does the glass top appear to be sturdy enough for a triple monitor stand? The total wait of the stand and three monitors I would be using is 53 lbs. I am just a little nervous of so much wait being placed on one small 12"x12" base area. I can't tell from the video if the the glass sits on cross beams or just sits on a lip around the desk.
53 lbs is a lot of weight but as long as you don't slam the base down I don't forsee any issues. The glass is frosted white on the bottom and sits on the edges as well as one crossbeams about where most people would sit their monitor (16 inches from front face of desk) I took a photo here: i.imgur.com/99u34qI.jpg . This photo is with the drawer opened. My monitors are sitting on the crossbeams just by chance. I would definitely buy the desk and see because it's costco and if it ever breaks while you are a member just return it. I hesitated on buying an ikea desk because the motors go out eventually but with this one I don't have to worry about losing $300 (though it is going on sale for $200 around November 16 fyi)
Thanks for the response and pic.
Does this desk have wheels?
Thank you for the review. Found it very helpful.
im guessing this one has no built in power strip or cable management? trying to figure out if this would work for me since its so cheap, need to figure out a way to attach a PC tower holder as well
cutdajibbajabba I would not sit a desktop computer on it or attached to it UNLESS your computer uses ONLY solid state hard drives as the vibration from lifting and lowering will kill any mechanical hard drives over time. I have mine on my old desk next to the stand up desk and the cables were long enough to go up and down.
do you have the measurement for the desk surface ? i really wanna buy this desk but im wondering if i have space >_
top of desk is 23-3/4 x 47-3/8. The drawer slides out 12 inches.
I'd like to know the dimensions of the top. I'd like to use it for cutting out patterns for sewing.
what about the width? Wondering if it will work with a large 27 inch iMac.
Jacana Productions Yes, I have my 27 inch iMac and there is still a lot of space left in front of my screen
just got one and i love it
Great video! Do you have any idea how thick the desktop is? I have a monitor arm that I'd like to use but I'm thinking it might not clamp to a desk this size.
It is 2.75 inches thick
striker1211 Thanks!
Putting the clamp on and added weight of the monitors doesn't effect the glass on top the desk? That's one concern I'm having before buying this.
@@mohammedwajhiuddin4483 Still love the desk but I didn't end up using a monitor arm.
does it have 2 motors (one for each leg)?
where could I buy one?
This desk looks awesome...need on for my cube at work and I found a Costco coupon for $100 off. What is the length and width of that desk? Can't find that anywhere. I originally thought it was 48" long but that may be talking about the max height.
Matt Betsold desk is 47"x24". Shown on the Costco tag in this video. th-cam.com/video/5f_hO2yWEFI/w-d-xo.html
Are they still selling these
I got one at Goodwill for $99 ! Great desk!!! But the height level light is always on, it doesn't turn off. Is that normal?
VideoGrabBag no it’s not. I have the one in this video and it turns off after you’ve finished using it.
I mean after you are done with adjusting height it should turn off after a few seconds.
Costco only has the white, and I really want the black. There's 5 different similar ones when you search for it. The only difference is is another brand on them and ook exactly the same with the controls in the same spot, glass top, drawer shape and position. It appears this company is selling them to whoever wants to buy them and resell them.
Mine came with no legs. So freaking upsetting. Ordered it from Costco.
Found this table at a discount storage called lisco at 120
Paola Garcia do you have a link to where you bought it
thank you. great review! I think you'll have a lot more hits this week since it's on sale at Costco. :)
What is the height of the desk at its lowest setting?
29.5 inches to the top of the glass but your legs will hit the bottom at 26"
30 inches
Great video... I wonder is the power plug in universal voltage for international usage?
I LOVE THAT TABLE, BTW, HOW MUCH FOR THE WHITE CAT?
After a year the desk is still working? Im from Mexico and i want buy one in Costco Mx, just want check quality Many thanks
Still works perfectly.
Thanks !
Donde lo comprooooo
How long did it take to put together?
Less than 10 minutes.
Hi it is very nice one ,it is good to talk with you?need some more information
I’ve had my desk a month. I WAS loving it but now have E3 error. It is stuck in “top” position. I’ve disconnected the sensor as was instructed but it hasn’t worked. It now won’t move at all. It’s going back to Costco. I wouldn’t recommend buying this desk; sad to say because it was going great. I just think it should work for more than 30 days.
I would return it for another one. Mine is still working perfectly and I raise/lower it every day. Sometimes you get a lemon.
2021 update please
It's still working great and I haven't had a single issue with it.
I purchased one of these desk and like it a lot. Not crazy about the glass top but works good. The manufacture should put a on/off switch on it because I keep touching the area buttons and accidently raising or lowering it. You have to unplug it to keep this from happining.
Yours does not have a lockout button on the right side near the USB ports?
Barry Inn Yes,we have
Press the picture of the lock on the right side.
This video helped a lot. thanks dude!
Great video thank you
✅✅✅✅ great review. !!
this is pretty good!...Have anyone here try the Smartdesk kit frame to DIY a sit stand desk?...
does anyone know the model number of this desk? begins with "ODP"
yee
This is the 4th video I've watched to try to figure out why mine wont lift or lower more than 1 single fucking inch so... maybe don't buy it?!
I hate the sound. Just got one, second gen, and it sounds like an aging fucking forklift
