- To be able to produce and sell things like bread, watch this video to know the bread Bakery NAFDAC requirements that you should put in place before approaching NAFDAC for a number. You must be fully registered with National Agency for Food, Drugs, Administration Control (NAFDAC) before you are allowed to sell any packaged processed consumables like bread, cosmetics, processed food in Nigeria.

NAFDAC is after the shelf live of the product and not the special recipe you used. Shelf live meaning how long the your product can last before getting spoilt

Thanks and God bless you for this information but I have one issue bothering me I got an apartment which is a 4 bedroom duplex which I intend to use for both commercial and residential well I stay alone no family members which I dedicated one room to myself, and I intend to use one of the rooms for the production area but the room is ensuite it has a toilet. What do you advice I do. The toilet has a door but I still intend to demarcate inside the toilet permanently

I was told NAFDAC doesn't have any business to do with a product until it carries a label. I mean I can sell my bread as long as it doesn't have a label.
And also, is there no difference between a micro and macro establishment? I think NAFDAC has put that into consideration so that every one can afford a NAFDAC number base on their production scale. Just not too sure
Well any consumable product you are going to put out there in the market for people to buy and consume must have a NAFDAC number, there is nothing like small or medium business in this regards.
What is the consequences of producing bread for sale without nafdac number.
Can standard two bed room apartment with toilet and bathroom all ensuites be awarded nafdac number for bread 🍞 productions
Oh no you can't, you have to get rid of the toilets and bathroom. You can used the two bedroom but without toilet and bathroom
The registration is it expensive
