I was in the BMW workshop and they updated the software of the bike. Also, I updated the software of the Bluetooth SENA (New 10S) and I updated the software of my new iPhone 11 Pro. None of this has helped. BMW Connected App is downloaded in my iPhone a active during my ride. The Favorites option still does not appear in the Telephone Menu.
Hello friends. I have a 2020 R 1250 GS. The TFT screen is correctly connected to my iPhone and my SENA 10S Intercom. However, in the Telephone Menu: The Phone Book and Call List appear correctly but FAVORITES do not appear. This makes making a call very cumbersome because the contact list is very large.
I am having issues pairing my sena 20s to my new 850gsa it sees it but wont connect .I made sure my sena is newest update to 2.0 .. but just wont connect . It sees it on the dash but then searches till it times out. I dont know what I'm doing wrong.

Connecting to the battery to power-up accessories if fine. BMW doesn't want you to connect a charger to the installed battery while connected to the bike. Charge through the power port (with a CANbus compatible charger) or a removed battery... Thanks!
+Ron Bridgefarmer - I can promise you, your 2014 did not come from the factory prewired with a charging lead attached to the battery... A lot of dealers install them during setup & PDI of the bike. We do the same here on everything except F, K and R series BMW's. BMW claims that going through a battery that's connected the bike's system could possibly do irreversible damage to control modules. Pulling the battery from the bike is fine, or using the power port with an approved CANbus charger is fine as well. The power port is filtered by the ZFE Module. If anything was to go wrong, the ZFE will shut down the power port, protecting everything. Thanks for watching and commenting Ron!

HI, could you give an in depth usage of the TFT. I just bought a '18 R1200gs and the owners manual is not good. I learned hot to clear the first riders info but can't figure out how to clear the second riders info off the main screen. Thanks
I’m researching your older videos for tft display info. I have the 19 Standard GS HP and I’m trying to figure out how to disable traction control in Dynamic mode. I do not have the chip for pro modes. Is this even possible. The manual is not great in this area. Thanks.
Using the ABS button on the left switch cluster, short presses switches traction control on and off. Long presses switch ABS on and off. Works the same in Dynamic Pro, should you order the Pro Ride Modes chip at some point... Be very careful..! I don't want your next reply to be about you looping the GS over, or totally loosing control of the rear end!!! BMW took these options away on the 2020 S1000RR, unless you render the bike into full race mode (street legal lighting removed). I bet BMW will make Enduro Pro mode the only mode you can turn this off on the 2020 GS/GSA's... Pretty crazy when riding them turned off, so again, be very careful! If you get the chip, you can turn it down, but not completely off... Much safer! Thanks Courtney!
I stopped connecting my phones half way through the 2018 model's use, other than to the NAV-VI for traffic & weather, that I still use on the 2020 GSA... All music and nav audio goes through my phone and Sena Headset. Some have the BMW system work flawlessly, I find it way too hit or miss... I never tried using the favorites, so I apologise for not being of any help. Thanks Alvaro!!

TFT is no brillian in navigation but you can use your mobile phone with google maps connected to TFT. ¿¿Is my thinking right?? TFT and Navigator are expensive devices and I would like to make a wise decision. Thanks a lot...!

The bike's ZFE (Central Chassis Electronics Control Module) will simply shut the power port off in approximately one minute, as it doesn't recognize an appropriate charger connected to it. Seems a pain at first, but becomes second nature after a few times hooking it up. It's very safe for the bike. If anything were to go wrong, like power surge for example, the bike instantly shuts the port down. Thanks!

The recall was on the boxes, waiting on BMW to send mines. They said they addded reflectors or something. Is the Enduro plug under the seat? Is it that plug with a red cap on it?

+David Gruver - So I looked into this, and sure as heck, BMW is not showing the TFT as an option..? I asked Karen, our main BMW sales person, and she's had folks telling her the same thing... Nice FYI. I survived my trip down south. 22hrs of riding in total for a distance of 2,534klms. I broke up the down trip which was easy, but the return was one trip, not so easy. My butt was like lead, even with the Mustang Vintage touring seat, by the time I got home. The SGS handled it like the pro it is. Never put a foot wrong even in 60kph wind from the side. I did however make one mistake when returning from Wollongong took the wrong road. Princess Hwy and Princess Motor way ain't the same thing. Needless to say this bike isn't for stop start city traffic with traffic lights every few hundred mtrs. Should have zigged when I zagged. Still I've done it and I'll wait awhile before doing it again, it'll take that long to clean the bike.

Coming from a sport bike rider this beast is super comfortable, nimble and oh she smell sooooo goood. Your GSA vlogs is one of the reason for trading my K11 S1000RR and yessah! I thank you for that. I have a couple of questions. First is using the smart wheel in navigating the "status line across the top" (5:03) How do you go about switching those to trip 1, gas level, mileage etc..? It is the same, i'm still using my BMW top case, panniers and nav 5 now on a 2020 R1250GSA HP. The only reason to upgrade to nav Vl, it is the brighter screen and more constrasted colors and a couple of more features.
Does that display show the temperature of your coffee as well ? it seems to do everything else. Hummmm, do you really need all that,its just a motorbike,i expect its cheap to produce but add's a premium to the price.!!!
They are blinking because the bike has not performed the self-testing of the systems... As soon as you get moving, it will test itself and lights go away. If you ever have the flashing while riding, a message will appear on the TFT telling you that you have an issue and instruct you what to do..! Thanks!!

Can you explain why a direct charger connection on a GS is a no no?

I bought a 2020 r1250rs and the headlights shine to low. The road is illuminated about 20 feet ahead of the bike. How do I adjust the headlights

So that not honking charger directly to the batter just a BMW thing. My 2014 comes prewired for the battery analyzer to the battery.
