- Here's the second episode on the 141.
In this video I've rebuilt the compressor, replaced the governor, replaced fuel filters, installed a new top radiator hose, installed new brake hoses, installed new suzies, installed a new second hand gear knob and have got it very close to driving condition.
I am now having trouble with the right rear brakes being rusted to the drum. Episode 3 will most definitely include freeing that up and fitting some new tyres. I’m bloody wrapt for the truck to building up to 130PSI now. Plenty of air leaks left to fix, but we're a lot closer than before.

Great job so far👍👍 The compressor looks brand new innside out👍 Trace the brake pedal linkage from the firewall and twords the frame. I had the same problem on mine truck. The brake pedal did not return proper. Lube up the linkage joints that runs along the frame rail twords the brake valve, and pump the brake pedal so it looses up. 😊

Just awesome, to see these old pieces of Australian Transport History. In Holland, our Company used the V8 SCANIA,S to Arabia and Russia.
