(How we spend) A Day in Batam

Batam Indonesia is just an hour away by ferry from Singapore. Its the easiest get away from Singapore, though the place are like stone throw away, it is totally different world.
This time of our travel was not quite what we expected, Batam is still on the way to recover from the Pandemic, there are few establishments that are open but obviously not enough people to sustain them Yet! I had enjoyed my body massage though, coz the spa is empty its very relaxing, as there's no people around. Although I think the restaurant but he sea side is quite pricey- I mean you can get that kind of price range in Singapore too! you are just there actually for the change of scenery and country vibes. If you like spicy food, Indonesian food is good to explore, whilst my husband who cannot tolerate little spicy didn't tried any of the Indonesian food. There are very few local food shops that is open but the area is not clean looking, and if there is a place that is acceptable ( clean looking) the seller doesn't have prices - on their menu. I just dont like it when I go to local shops and no publish prices.
