When playing this map I used to run and set my base up on the central island, and expand a network of Tesla coils to block the competitors from even leaving their little islands. You'll have most of the resources whilst limiting theirs. It worked. You had to be quick though. 🙂
Hi, well, this map can 1 vs 7 with original version, when you can control ore area, you'll have enough income to build defend building and army, when AI out of income, you can crash all AI easy. I'm thinking of giving up recording these days, some people keep giving me dislike without any reason, maybe my records make no scene I guess. I just wanted to do a quick game for youtube im playing nfs unbound alot at the moment when im done with unbound i will be making more cnc video's again!
Doing the mig thing early is a good idea but your ore truck pathing is really inefficient and you could get all this done a lot quicker by placing a yard in the center island and building up refineries around that. Multiple war factories speeds production and with the ore coming in fast you could support it easily, just keep piling tanks onto each of those lanes from the islands, when there's 20 at each lane throw them into the bases. Destroying their ore trucks early should be a priority
Its been a while since i played RA, but i remember my strategy on this map: Send infantry to reveal the central island as soon as possible. When the war factory is built, i get a mcv and build a refinery in the central island. Money will then start pouring fast Then, i start building tanks and send them hunting down harvesters leaving only a few units to protect the base, until i can build turrets. Preventing the ennemies from harvesting gems is key. Usually the 2 or 3 closest enemies will quickly run out of ressources and i can send my tank controlling the rest of the map. I also remember using ships to harass them from the water Also, how many times he had undefended blue harvesters taking gems right in front of his tank's nose.
