Arguably the best verse ever in hip hop. He wrote this in jail. He spat it to Devine(Rza's older brother) when they were locked up together. When he came home in 95, he laid the verse down and the rest is history. 👐🏾

Wrong. Cappadonna came out of prison in 95 while Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx was being recorded. Cappa’s first appearance on record was on that album (on “Ice Cream” and “Ice Water”). His next appearance was on Ghostface Killah’s Ironman album (this song is one of the many in which he appeared). Cappa grew up with Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, and U-God in the Park Hill (a.k.a. Killa Hills) section of Staten Island, NYC. He would have been one of the original members of the Clan if it wasn’t for the fact that he was incarcerated at the time of the Clan’s debut.

First time I heard Winter Warz was in the movie theater after watching Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood. It played at the end of the flick during the credits, shit got wild in the theater after that one

I think this may have been Masta Killa's 3rd or 4th verse ever and he goes on a punchline spree, unlike his other darts. His lyrics are super visual like an action flick is being narrated.
Then Cap loses his fuggin' mind and shows everyone why the Wu was waiting for him to come, leave his security job and start throwing darts on wax with them. "Staten Island's best, fxxk what you hear!"
RZA made sure that was in the Wu show with the character in the jail rec room. Not sure if he was foreshadowing Cap or making sure Cap was getting some rep in the tv show with that crazy boast.
