Not much remains of the body shell. Other than having to deal with disposing of large fiberglass pieces this has been a fairly straight-forward process.
I just caught this video - and I don't know the whole story - but it's sad to see one of these being scrapped. Way ahead of their time. I got my 76 Palm Beach last fall. looking forward to adventures this year.
It had been in a collision, the rear end and generator took the brunt but repair was possible I guess. The worst part was the entire interior was toast. Having said all that, I bought this at auction because it was cheap and I needed the drivetrain and bogeys, repairability was irrelevant.

Don't know how far away the person was that wanted the windscreens but they didn't want them badly or they would have come and collected them. In doing some of my projects i have been prepared to travel a long way for what looks like good quality unobtainium. Keep building. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Where in Australia? I lived in Hallett Cove for 22 years. For the fellow wanting the windscreens it was a case of not being able to justify them when he really didn’t need them.
Been watching your videos. It's amazing to see how these things were put together. I just bought one a few weeks ago.
I guess it’s a bit like archeology, the engineering and methods are impressive.
