Fabia is unusually priced here in the UK in that the top-spec model (the 1.5 MCE DSG driven here) is only 25% more expensive than the most basic entry-level 1.0 80PS Manual, so you could argue that the more expensive Fabias represent better value than the cheaper ones! My father has a 1.2 TSi 110PS DSG, which was the top of the Fabia range in 2016 and cost 35% more than the entry model, so this newer 1.5 engine with much more power and such a small price-premium seems like exceptional value…
Your driving is perfect👌. I really do like how this fabia is sort of like a hidden hot hatch in terms of performance cause it keep pulling well past 200 kmh. The only thing that puts me off is the sound of the 1.5 tsi across Skoda, Audi’s and VW’s. It sort of sounds like an old van. The older 1.4 tsi that was offered in the golf etc sounded a bit better in my opinion. Great video!!
thanks alot for your comment! Haha and a real one recognizes finally that my driving still is actually one of the safest while still being fast and efficient without being reckless 💯 Yes you are right this fabia was actually good fun also on some twisty back roads. However the engine does ssound a bit uninspiring and somewhat overewhelmed.... but lets be honest we dont really get VAG cars for sound anymore except for maybe the r8... everything else has just gotten very very boring sadly
@@Catchingcars yeah that’s true. Skodas are more like a mode of transport with some fancy stuff sometimes. You are deffo one of the safest aswell, you can tell by the amount of times you shake your head to check blind spots etc😂👍. What’s your favourite small car been so far?
@@Adamlllllllllllljjjljljjjjj i do haha i check my mirrors and blindspots almost as much as i look forward 👀😂 my favorite small hot hatch is hands down the fiesta ST 💯
Thank you very much! The car is very decent for the category it competes in. The Fabia in General i beleove is one of the best in it's class. This Monte Carlo editiok with the 150 PS while I wouldnt call it a hot hatch as a Fiesta ST or even Polo GTI were just more Fun and more Powerful. But this is a small hatch you can have some fun with. Maybe call it a Warm Hatch. Only thing it is missing is Sound. There is absolutely no sound and no character with this engine... but you can't argue with the figures and performance for what it is.
Thanks man! You are right sadly i did not quite reach top speed i just noticed as the Autobahn was very packed. Oficially this car can reach Speeds up to 225 km/h we reached about 212 kmh in this Video and reached 235 kmh speedo off camera.
C'est un bruit métallique au rétrogradage? Au passage de vitesse ? En mode boite sport ou drive? Quand j'ai essayé le 116ch dsg7 j'ai remarqué aucun bruit.. apres j'etais avec les fenetre ouvertes
since i am only 1.70m its hard for me to tell you how comfortable ot would be for you but even if i put the seat all the way up i still had a bit of room left so you should be ok. The car itself is somewhat stiff in the suspension department but that is because we had the sportier monte carlo edition. If you get a non monte Carlo with smaller rims and differemt suspension it should be very comfortable aswell

Der macht mit seinen 150ps gut rambazamba auf der autobahn. Das gefällt mir!

It is because of the miller cycle, it sounds more like a diesel.
Hi nice video Bro, what do u think overall about this car and this engine? Is it Sporty and power?

Thank u for your answer... Fuel consummation and top speed ? Is it speed? Thanks
Hai notato vibrazioni o scricchiolii all’interno?
Škoda is built really well, I think better than the new Volkswagen models.
Io ce lo da Settembre. Quasi 7000 km . L'unico punto negativo direi, la frenata. Un po debbole Al mio punto di vista.
@@calogerocammilleri4904 grazie
interior Quality was very good for this class of vehicle. Not as good as an Audi A1 or BMW 1 series but certainly among the best still
