The last tip was a GEM and VERY important to remember! I’m working on a free offering right now with hopes to create digital products for purchase down the line after more research as to what my niche audience actually WANTS! ❤
It's weird. but after 11 (soon to be 12 in July) years on this platform and having over 30k subscribers I still don't know what to label my channel's niche as. I make edits & memes for a variety of different tv shows that I enjoy. It's mostly Disney shows like Gravity Falls, The Owl House and Amphibia. But I now also make edits for shows like Murder Drones, The Amazing Digital Circus, Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. I don't know if I count as Comedy or another niche. I tend to label my videos under the entertainment category cause that makes the most sense to me. Maybe vidIQ can help me answer this question.
Checked out you channel really cool I think I'm sort of the same niche as you but I feel like I boxed myself in by selecting 1 show now I'm scared of posting outside that specific TV how any advice ? Note I have only been posting for a month and half
ali abdaal saved me from struggling for a lifetime. I was trying to find the best niche but I watched some videos about you yourself are the best niche and you will find your best niche during content creation and it helped me a lot now I'm trying to build my own style videos and niche 🔥👌 what do you think is it right mindset? 😃🤔
I went in with the plan to make Retro gaming content and livestreams. I knew it would be extremely hard to break into because a few creators dominate about 90% of the traffic. With that said I am passionate enough and knowledgable enough to offer something very nostalgic and technical. My channel is as unique as I am.
I was thinking it might be helpful if you offered a paid service for a private video review of channels as an alternative to the live reviews. Something like a 2-5 minute review for a one time payment of $5 for example. I think a lot of us would find that really valuable. Thanks for all the great content 🙌
My channel is about homemaking and recipes, and hopefully eventually vlogs of my daily life. I have another channel for makeup strictly that won’t have vlogs. I think sometomes it can cross over (ex. I do a video where I get ready for the day on my homemaking/vlog)channel and it involves makeup. But for the most part I want to keep them separate. Picking a niche is tough, because I go from one thing to another about what I love doing.
If anyone reading this, i hope you reach your goal really soon! Don't get demotivated! I always support small channels as i am also running a small channel! 😺🐨
I finally kinda narrowed down what I wanted to do as a niche which is videos about speedrunning. I’m starting with tutorials but I’m also doing challenge or informational videos regarding using stuff like Pro-Controllers or playing games on a Phone like the Resident Evil games on the iPhone. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to start making videos again. I have a clear focus now
Any advice, girls and guys, on whether to make the same channel in a different language or just wait for TH-cam auto dubbing. Currently this channel is a travel channel in English for people coming to visit Spain. But I could also post the same videos in Spanish for Spanish audience and thus earn more and also maybe see faster growth.
I’m currently between video marketing (content strategies) and this national everyday holiday thing basically every day is a holiday. I meant to stuff like that I love it.
Also wanted to take the time to say thanks vidIQ! I reached over 100 subs in only two days of having videos out. Seriously, these tutorials/tips have been immensely helpful. Thank you:)
Thanks for the video guys. Well about 10 months ago I started a making video's about the periodic table(chemistry). 45 longform video's later things are going pretty good. And the fun part is we still got about 300 more video ideas for the future. If you find your niche stick to it and even when video's are not performing well you will have fun making the video's which is something no one will ever take away from you.
My "niche" right now is making videos and learning from my own mistakes lol. If I have any advice as a total and complete novice, it'd be this: enjoy the craft and enjoy the learning. Find one thing you want to improve for your next video and learn/grow in that. Watch videos for direction and practice that new skill. I won't run out of ways to improve anytime soon and while it's certainly intimidating, it's fun and rewarding to gain each and every new tool in my belt. It's awesome seeing so many people finding this hobby and having the courage to pursue it. All the best to vidIQ and my fellow creators!
I'm in the Music niche. Currently exploring a range of content, relaxing piano, choir, music, relaxing sounds, religious music, mediation etc, although don't know if this is too broad in terms of different ideas? Really enjoying the process and hoping to grow more in 2025. Good luck to all creators for the New Year.

The King is in the building what's up y'all... great advice as usual guys.. the guy can do 2 channels: one prioritized for business with his movie making expertise/products to make money & the second just for fun, pack it full of all the other stuff, who cares about the subs on that one, make your own rules... good luck everyone
I make content on pretty niche and old school fighting games, I try to focus on being entertaining to people who have never played those games in the hopes that they try the game out to grow that player base. So far at 1565 subs which I'm happy about since these games don't even have 100 concurrent players and I feel like my content is helping these games feel more alive.
Pick a niche that you won’t hate to turn into “work”, make sure to keep some hobbies as hobbies. But only you know what works best for you! Pick whatever you can put out the most frequently , where you are the most knowledgeable, and can offer relatable value, this way you won’t burn out. Just my input bc it’s working for me! LORD willing!
You always tell us way to improve our channel. How do we know you are not lying. I dare you to make a brand new TH-cam channel and get monetized within a month.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You keep making video about strategy , niche .however, I will very Appreciate if you have in mind to make videos about making good videos so that we can optimize the watchtime , the ctr ect ...because if our videos are clicked and wactched, we are going to get promote by the algorithmes. I don't envy the trend chasers that only make videos based off the latest thing. Seems exhausting

My experience is that creative people have LOTs of interests and enjoy creating many different things!
