- One of my all-time fav Tool tracks!
I've been playing with using AI to isolate vocal tracks, it's really surprising how well it does. I've wanted to do some proper Tool covers for a while, including all the extended variations and additions.
Everything you hear except the vocals is recorded and mixed by me!
Lots of extra synth in here. Based on a 2002 performance, I believe the members of Meshuggah played extra drums and synth parts live. I didn't include the drums (based solely on Danny's performances) but I did include all the synth parts I can hear.
Guitar / Bass effects are all through the AxeFX but I've added images that show the effect order path and which effects are active at the time. The images are representing the pedals I am replicating with the AxeFX, not that I'm using those specific pedals.

Gnarly tones bud well done
I’m very curious on what the most challenging song for you is
Guitar-wise for Tool? Invincible. For some reason the chord picking really trips me up. For bass, I'm not sure. Maybe Reflection. The same riff is played for like 8 minutes total or something. Hard not to cramp up or goof it up lol
