    So many fun riffs in one tune. That's a sweet guitar as well.

      Hey Bud, thanks for watching. Yeah, I like that guitar a lot but it needs some locking tuners. That and the nut needs to be cut for these larger strings (Beefy Slinky.) This guitar seems to always be tuned around C or C# and it has trouble.
      And I agree, those riffs are a lot of fun.🤘🤘🤘

      Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. I agree, “Considered Dead,” is a monumental album. I had it on cassette in the old days. When it first came out I listened to it all the time. It’s absolutely a Classic!🤘

      I bought it on tape as well back when it first came out. I use to listen to it all the time. It always seemed so advance to me back then, like cutting edge. I had a lot of old time memories about it as well. When I started posting videos I decided I was going to learn all my favorites from when I was growing up and “Gorguts”was high on my list. There were so many wonderful albums that came out back in those days. Anyway, Thanks for watching ! 🤘

    Killer lesson from Gorguts arguably best or truest DM album and a classic song. How about covering Deicide's Blasphereion which is rarely covered?!

    • @Yourguitarchannelsucks
      @Yourguitarchannelsucks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      C# and I used Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky’s. I also utilized the Songster Tablature. There are three guitar parts. The main rhythm and then a second rhythm that has a few harmonies and slightly different counterpoints. Then the solo is also tabbed at songster as well. Cheers! 🤘🤘🤘 and I’m jealous, I want A Flying V.

      Thanks for watching. I appreciate it! 🤘 Yeah, I was still learning how to insert the tablature on this video and it was very time consuming, so on several of the repeating sections I would not put the tab of a section I had already showed. So technically it is all there but it is harder to follow. Sorry, for any confusion but it’s exhausting inserting the tablatures. People would probably be surprised how long it takes to add all those little lines.😂 I did a video a week or two ago of Oblivion Knight and posted all the tablature line by line and it took me about 8 hours just to insert each part. Anyway, on this Gorguts song I was using a songster tablature if that helps. 🤘🤘🤘

      @@Yourguitarchannelsucks yahr...i know everything this computer take away our life (i HATE it), maybe and more cool write tabletur in hand on paper and put in (repeat patterns only do // ). But to link tab on links under video is great but than again, very god to follow as you play ☝️ so almost perfect (but even faster internet will NEVER make making process faster, many make this as i do in my spare time). But again...great video and worth see again ☝️😁

    I heard this live and for all the praise people give Scott Burns you absolutely have to see them live. The arrangements on the first three records is what makes them so good.

    • @Yourguitarchannelsucks
      @Yourguitarchannelsucks  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had tickets to see them Live in Atlanta in 1992 or ‘93. I can’t remember but they didn’t show up. Something happened and they didn’t make it- we got to the venue and the other bands told us Gorguts had to cancel. It was a big let down. I had been really looking forward to seeing them. Anyway, I still have not seen them live but I would imagine they are awesome, especially after all these years of refinement. Maybe I will get lucky like you and eventually see them. I think they are currently doing a tour or a few shows right now.

      @@Yourguitarchannelsuckson this tour they’re doing right now they had luc at the table selling merch. I was caught off guard how powerful they sound. Cannibal Corpse was kinda a letdown compare to that. I like that sort of staccato like effect they got in their playing. I’m not a musician but it reminds me a lot of that effect Sinister has in “Hate” and “Cross the styx” but without that cyclical feel you get with the riffs.

      That sounds like an awesome times. I wish the tour came near me. I saw cannibal many times in the early 90’s with the original line up and they were always super brutal.🤘
      #sinister also rules🤘
      And I love those type of riffs as well. Check out early Obliveon, some of those riffs seem very similar to me.

    Yo, which amp or pedal did you use on this? Killer tone

    • @Yourguitarchannelsucks
      @Yourguitarchannelsucks  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That guitar has a pair of bare knuckle war pig P90’s in it. The humbucker sized version. And I think I was plugged straight into the HX Stomp, probably using a modulated version of an Engl. I actually do own several tube amps, but I’m pretty sure it was the helix that day. By the way, those pick ups are very brutal, especially in C-sharp.

      It was only a joke. Usually only use an boss Od-1 or an eq pedal. But I did just pick up an Engl fireball that has enough gain to rip off the face of god and it has a built in boost that works super well. If I want to tighten it up, but not as much, I reach for the OD or Eq
