Oil is comming out my exhaust header pretty bad all the way out the tail end of muffler. Yes I cleaned muffler, yes my oil pump works. Could it be my crankshaft oil seal? Pretty please? A girl needs a man's help after all haha. Thank you so much!!
Going to stop watching for the night, but thanks a lot for the videos on this engine, the illustrations in service manuals are nice, but nothing beats seeing someone else take one apart so you have an idea of what the parts look like in relation to each other in a less than perfect condition engine
Mentioned already, but an impact driver for stuck screws, the manual type that you use a hammer with, works great. Also, find yourself a Japanese Industrial Standard - JIS - screwdriver. It looks similar to a Philips, but the Philips screwdrivers don't sit properly on JIS screws, so they'll strip out more easily.
generally the top of the piston is all the needs cleaned. You may be able to take just the head off and then bring the piston to the top. A brass wire brush should do the trick and then carefully wipe the carbon off so it doesn't go back in the cylinder.
you helped me. Don't worry about the negative people.
I appreciate the videos you make. You have saved ME some mistakes and trouble. I am new to these type of bikes and have a lot to learn. Thanks
Very good! Your videos helped me a bunch especially when I was working on Expesses. Always gonna be expert out there that can type real fast! 😂😂

Phillips screw impact driver, usually works for me, even in 35 year frozen fasteners.
How can I clean the piston without taking all this apart?
