- World champion five times between 1980 and 1986, Bristow also won five World Masters titles and was a founder player when the PDC was formed in 1993. He was awarded an MBE for his services to sport in 1989.
He also worked as a TV pundit and appeared on ITV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2012.
He didn't die 60 he died treble 20

george talking crap bristow was 17 in 1972, george didnt take up darts until june 1976 when he was 30
No.I played Eric for the 1st time in 1976-he was 19.Got the same DOB as me 25 April.He beat me that night.I was 22 then.Played him about 15 times-only beat him once and he was a bit tipsy! He was a good bloke,and a bloody good pool player too.
