lately ive been running an octave pedal with the wet blend set really low just to add a little bit of beef to my rhythm tones, works really well for more slow chugging type stuff. not so much for fast thrash but i definitely reccomend it for anyone looking to fatten up their tone if their speakers dont have a ton of low end
I think reviewing pedals/preamps would be a great new series once you run out of amps to demo, especially since soon you'll have tried nearly every amp on Earth.
i got several pedals from sonicake, donner, mooer & co including all the boost and distortion versions and they are all very good even wayy above their pricerange of max 30€ in germany here, the green sonicake boost and marshall plexi clones are real bargain, just try them i know you will like them! cheers & greetings from germany 🤟🤟

Every time I use an Octaver, I go straight to CKY riffs. Can't help it.
Would love to see more FX pedals on the channel! I use delay, Chorus, reverb, ect on peavey 6505 for thrash riffs all day long. Thinking of picking up the Octaver now, thanks!
On the line 6 catalyst, there's a octaver fx setting. It sounds pretty cool. Just wish I had a computer to mess with settings.

Stay away from the brand "sonicake". I had their od+ds+some effects "tehc21 sansamp flyrig" clone for about a week (sold it immediately). Sounded like fart behind a carpet. Dull, muffled, bad...
I picked up their bass version, it's pretty good. Just a tech 21 sans amp clone. Sans amp are far better on bass
@@AllofJudea I don't have any experience with other "flyrig" type products, but i have the GDI21 pedal by Behringer, which is a sansamp gt2 clone and it sounds great, well worth the price.
