    Extremely well produced. Salute to our Singaporean men who sacrifice their youth to serve and defend our nation. Salute to fathers and mothers who wholeheartedly entrust their sons to the SAF and give their all out emotional support to their sons going through NS. Salute to the women, wives of our NSmen who hold the fort while their husbands are away for their annual in camp trainings. Salute to the Singaporean family units who made all this possible. We only hope our sacrifices are recognised by others.

    Watching this make me a little emotional as it reminds me of my NS and reservist time in the 80s. Thoroughly enjoy that rite of passage. Enjoy the company of my buddies regardless of race and religion. We suffer and enjoy the time together. My only wish the SAF then was similar to the present moment. It was different times but I’m glad they changed. Yang Pertama dan Utama. First and foremost.

    Different races and religions do not matter. We stand together, arm in arm protecting what and who we love. Basic understanding and respect for each other is really simple. It isn't complicated when we have the same kind of love for our family, friends and country.

    This video really hit the feels. Honestly everything portrayed in BMT and otherwise is something we can relate to. Thanks for making such an awesome video. To all the people thinking this is propaganda, its the truth and maybe more like promotion for SAF, so the next generation coming up to serve, know what they are fighting for:)

    • @yans86
      @yans86 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you think that the next gen needs a video to tell them "what they're fighting for"?

    • @sooriyah007
      @sooriyah007 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Because sometimes we don't actually see the whole picture. Up till going into NS, I also had the same "nothing will ever happen to us, NS is wasting time" mentality...

    • @yans86
      @yans86 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +sooriyah007 of course most of them will feel that way until they experience it for themselves. What is wrong with letting them come to their own conclusions rather than "telling" them how to think?

      Truth is ISIS are not good fighters. They have been rushed every tine they faced a well trained and led fighting force. The one time they tried to fight the IDF, the Israelis destroyed them with heavy artillery.

    we fail to make the connection. we're okay killing pigs,cows chickens,lamb, strangers from foreign lands but not our neighbours not our dogs, our cats, those we have come to love and understand. we call other creatures stupid yet we point to them to justify our actions. but does killing simply because we can,because we always have make it right? or does it show how little we've learned that we continue to act out of primal aggression, rather than thought and compassion. one day this sensation we call life will leave us, our bodies will rot, our valuables recollected yesterday's action all that remain death constantly surrounds us. still it seems so distant from our everyday reality we live in a world on the verge of collapse the wars of tomorrow will have no winners. for the violence will never be the answer, it will destroy every possible solution. if we all look at our innermost desire, we will see our dreams are not so different. we share a common goal HAPPINESS. we tear the world apart looking for joy and peace without ever looking within ourselves. many of the happiest people are those who own the least. we have mastered the act of killing. now let's master the joy of living. i proud to be a JEHOVAH WITNESS.

      LadBooboo Dude I'm Canadian, and I can tell you most high ranking officers are white. did you see our Remember Day celebration today? Almost all the soldiers, veterans, paraders were white, their still were minorities, but they lesser amount. Plus their also the reluctant to join kinda thing, for Canada most minorities aren't even willing to send their soldiers to the army cause, lest face it, minorities usually come to Canada for peace, not war.
      Oh and look at the Wiki, and check out the current Singaporean commanders, although most are ethnically Chinese, their are still non-Chinese.
