- The love story of Lara Jean and Peter may be far from over, but To All the Boys: Always and Forever marks the final chapter of the film series.
Yes, that does mean that the trilogy has officially come to an end. The good news, however, is that there's still plenty more to enjoy from this epic romance, including digging into all the little details in the film you might not have noticed the first time around. From adorable Easter eggs from the very first film to an amazing cameo that brings it all full circle, here's a look at the small details you might have missed in To All the Boys: Always and Forever.
A lot has changed since To All the Boys I've Loved Before first brought Lara Jean and Peter together, but fans will notice some familiar items sprinkled throughout To All The Boys: Always and Forever. For one thing, Lara Jean has resumed wearing her necklace from Peter, which he returned to her after the two got back together at the end of To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. And speaking of necklaces, Kitty is also still rocking that "feminist" necklace that took the internet by storm.
Meanwhile, the "LJ & PK" heart logo that Lara Jean put on their promise lantern in the second film makes a triumphant return in several scenes of the third film, including a moment when Peter paints it on their home wall in Lara Jean's dream of their perfect future together and on the lock Lara Jean got for him at Seoul Tower.
Perhaps most adorably, Lara Jean is still using the same lock screen image of her and Peter cuddling that we saw in the previous films. There's more to the story of that photo than meets the eye, too. Director Susan Johnson revealed that the pic was actually a candid shot of Lana Condor and Noah Centineo lounging between takes, and Johnson loved it so much that she incorporated it into the movie.

@@diluxn1999 i know! i wish that they did what was in the book. even movie two was so different. in book three john ambrose was in it, stormy died, they didn’t go to Korea they just had the tickets, etc. i’m so sad it was like they didn’t care about the book they just wanted to do it their way and not the books

Is it terrible that I was hoping it was Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre's version? I loved they brought the song back, because in the third book that was all I could imagine playing as they enjoyed New York.

Read the books. They are worth revisiting. There is something they don't mention that is really touching about Peter and Lara Jean, instead of their meet-cute. Peter has a special place in his heart for Lara Jean for another reason. Please read it. I've read it multiple times because I was impatiently waiting for the second movie, which satisfied my need for their story.

Right? And you don’t need to wipe your face with a towel afterwards. It’s essentially an essence that you pat into your skin after taking the mask off...
some of the stronger ones actually do when they dry up and you pull them off really suddenly! the charcoal essence one definitely stung a lil bit when i ripped it off xD but the wiping, i agree :3

Thought it just me, Idk but when they are making their first song, I cried. I am feeling sad and happy at the same time cause that's my goal love.
Another reference that happens I don't know if it's a legit one is when LJ is back from Korea the Welcome Back sign is in glitter hinting towards something from PK and LJ's meet cute, he added glitter as he remembered her bagpack had Lara Jean written in glitter letters!
In the first movie her fashion sense was a little more edgier and in the last two films they made it more girly romantic

This trilogy is my second favourite. (after "the before" trilogy). But this one is so close to me. specially because Lara Jean in the movies grew up with me. When she was a sophomore, i was one too. then juniors together and this year I'm a senior... and waiting to get into my dream uni. ahhh i hope i get in!

My opinion: I didn’t enjoy it so much since the movie had no plot, like what was it realy about? Lara jean planning to go to college.. The first movie was the best since it was unique.

This one is the best romcom I ever seen. Love Peter and Lara! The ending however sums up everything for them to stay together.

After finsihing the movie, I started to read the book and It hurts me like hell when I finish it (in just 6 days). The book really made me cry because it has so much too it, like how lara jean and john ambrose could have been together, the USO party, stormy who actually died (he's the grandmother of john mbrose), the beach week, etc., it makes you want more of it like it should have been more in the movie to, like can they just release one more of it, like pleaseeeeeeee 🥺🥺🙁🙁

I love the books and the movies. I love how much the characters grow up and make adult decisions especially how much Peter's character grew. He was an ass in the books to start out with but actually got to be awesome boyfriend material. And in the movies he started off a bit childish and not sure of himself or what he wanted to understanding that even though he wanted Lara Jean to be with him he had to let her make her choices for herself and chose to work so they could be together. Just a good sweet series

I saw it but it is actually is anarchy, not blm. The fist was red instead of black or brown. It looks very similar because the fists originated from the 1910's. It was used for protests and labor movements. The meaning is very similar, but mainly represents challenging the order in place. My husband researched it as we watched the movie, because he has to research everything lol
