To me personally this is my favorite video you’ve put out yet, the narration is perfect, the shots, the struggle, and what your trying to teach is on point. I like how you focus on the experience instead of being bogged down by technicals of film photography. It’s like a pure neutral
Mate your photography and cinematography levels are incredible. That shot at 12.47 and the waterfall are beautiful. Keep doing what you're doing Brae, you keep on getting better!
Man, that was a pleasure to watch... thanks for bringing us along. You're setting the bar so high with these vlogs that I don't know how you're gonna outdo yourself next haha 😄
Each video comes along, an every time am blown away by the pure professionalism and story telling by yourself. Another belter mate, thoroughly enjoyable!
I can’t say enough how much I love your videos. Every aspect of them and your photography. You’re such a talented guy. Keep it up. I truly enjoy your work.
It's agreat time when you are still young! Make the most of time! Never wait for one day, saying, wish I'd done that! I did all I could. Sure no backpacking.. Using that camera/lens wonderous! Bravo!
What, no cliff jump at 13:51? You've gone soft Hunziker! As always what a truly beautiful documentary of your adventure. You sure did live in a pretty part of the world. Thanks for bringing it to us all with such grace and style.
They are called Dust Devils… I absolutely enjoyed this video. I concur with everybody else here that says this was one of your best. Than you for your beautiful pictures and for sharing a wonderful outlook on life, especially in these trying times.
Bro... the whole dump thing just suddenly made you real! Don't ever change, you've found your style, the videos have become amazing (and even making me a bit jealous). Keep it up man, love the photography and the scenery! :)
Brae's face with sunscreen not fully applied made me so happy for no reason. Loved the MLU shot of the falls. Keep on making content like this pretty plz.
Gotta be honest. Other than the humor and great pics, what I enjoy the most whenever I watch your videos. Is that I know I won't be getting a collection of lo-fi beats in the background.
Your photography resonates with me in that it stems from exploration. I don't have quite the same scenery and back country but I can still relate. I combine my cycling and my photography into one super hobby. My bike takes me to places I would never otherwise go and my camera documents the things along the way.
The way u frame urself in every shot and the B rolls is extraordinary brae i've enjoyed another sunday with your video on the big screen! All love from Brunei
Okay but for some reason I was expecting a legit tornado and was shocked even more when you panned to a dust devil. 😂 Also you’re looking at absolutely Pentax 67’d in the body department. Yoked. Loved those night shots tho. Photo and video.
I won’t front, I teared up a bit after watching that last bit after you saying “being out in the back country is what brings out the most primitive side of yourself” and how it’s simply just living when your out alone in the wilderness. This is the reason why I love the great outdoors because I can simply just live. I’m gonna look back on this video many times over my man. Absolutely amazing work on this one!!!
Oh man thanks so much for the kind words. There's no feeling like being out there alone. It is overwhelming and calming at the same time. I feel fortunate I am able to experience it as much as I do. Cheers!
Another great video, maybe one of your best when it comes to the story / narration and lessons for yourself and to share that with us. Please keep up the work, i really enjoy your content!!
Just so damn good, Brae! Your stuff keeps getting better. It's a joy to be able to check in and watch these videos every little bit. That toilet bit was too funny though haha. Also, way too many good photos to pick a favorite!
Been watching your channel for a while, only noticed now i wasnt subscribed yet. This video is your best yet. Very relatable with the struggles of hiking solo and good photography as well. Keep it up
This video was a banger all around! So glad you decided to stay through unideal conditions because those moody shots in the middle of the video were some of my favorites!
I’m from Hong Kong and I go camping and shoot film too. I think your video has excellent cinematography and your film photos are sooo good. Hope I can shoot some film photos in this place one day🤗 great video!
I went on this hike! I remember the last part of the trail up to the lake being pretty steep (didn’t help that it was dark and kind of rainy when we went there) but there were great views of the lake the next day, especially on that trail further up the mountain you went on. Loved seeing the trail again in your video!
Your video pacing is always on point! I don’t think most people realize just how much time and planning is involved in making a video like this. Well done!
Yup its Sunday, and just in the nic-of-time Brae makes good with a video. So I'm kicking back with a coffee, and just immersing myself into the images being presented to me. Brea I gotta say this is some very beautiful country your hiking in, and the photos are warm and intimate landscapes that just make me feel like I should head for the hills myself. I think the 165mm f2.8 might have been right at home up here. Wonderful as always, and that shot of you on the log sipping your tea was killer at 12:51, so thank you. Cheers.
Ah thank you bro. Appreciate that. Can’t beat a trip up to the mountains. Have been really wanting to bring a longer lens up with me too. 165 might be the move.
Dude, this video was IT!! You are so good at these videos, everything from the amazing photos, to the filming, music, the reflections and so on! Keep killing it Brae! 🙌🏻
I am Austrian (you know, the Alps and stuff) though I was never much into hiking. Your videos make me wanna get outdoors with my cameras so bad - already planning some hikes within the next weeks. I agree with previous comments - great story, perfect and thoughtful (though not cheesy) narration and incredible shots (mind-blowing considering you're all alone). Keep it up.
To me personally this is my favorite video you’ve put out yet, the narration is perfect, the shots, the struggle, and what your trying to teach is on point. I like how you focus on the experience instead of being bogged down by technicals of film photography. It’s like a pure neutral
Dude thank you! Appreciate that immensely. Definitely trying to focus more on experiences than technicality.
Not even a minute in and the twister already set the mood for the entire video. What a lad.
Haha gotta watch for them twisters!
Brae is now a certified rugged outdoorsman film photographer!!

Mate your photography and cinematography levels are incredible. That shot at 12.47 and the waterfall are beautiful. Keep doing what you're doing Brae, you keep on getting better!

I can’t say enough how much I love your videos. Every aspect of them and your photography. You’re such a talented guy. Keep it up. I truly enjoy your work.
Thank you so much Aly! Means a lot 🙏🏻
It's agreat time when you are still young! Make the most of time! Never wait for one day, saying, wish I'd done that! I did all I could. Sure no backpacking.. Using that camera/lens wonderous! Bravo!
Absolutely right about the mountains! They teach incredible things about ourselves. I so level with you! Live for the mountains myself!
Yes sir!
What, no cliff jump at 13:51? You've gone soft Hunziker! As always what a truly beautiful documentary of your adventure. You sure did live in a pretty part of the world. Thanks for bringing it to us all with such grace and style.
Haha oh shit you caught me... Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed sir. Always appreciate the support 🤘🏻
They are called Dust Devils… I absolutely enjoyed this video. I concur with everybody else here that says this was one of your best. Than you for your beautiful pictures and for sharing a wonderful outlook on life, especially in these trying times.
Ah thanks so much! Appreciate that 🙏🏻
Bro... the whole dump thing just suddenly made you real! Don't ever change, you've found your style, the videos have become amazing (and even making me a bit jealous). Keep it up man, love the photography and the scenery! :)
Haha thank you dude. Appreciate it 👊
This was like a short film, I loved your reflection at the end - that what you do is not always easy but worth it in the end!
Thanks Rachel! Glad you enjoyed 🙏🏻
Brae's face with sunscreen not fully applied made me so happy for no reason. Loved the MLU shot of the falls. Keep on making content like this pretty plz.
Hahah I didn't even realize it was the type that sticks to your face so I had a good laugh when I started taking a glance at the footage
Gotta be honest. Other than the humor and great pics, what I enjoy the most whenever I watch your videos. Is that I know I won't be getting a collection of lo-fi beats in the background.
Hahahah 😂 I try to spice it up
Love the message of the video seeing this shows me I need to spend more time in nature and enjoy the little things of life.
It's very important indeed!
Appreciate u going out and doing all ur b-rolls. All those shots are amazing!

Okay but for some reason I was expecting a legit tornado and was shocked even more when you panned to a dust devil. 😂
Also you’re looking at absolutely Pentax 67’d in the body department. Yoked.
Loved those night shots tho. Photo and video.
Lmao dust devil definitely seems like a more appropriate name for that thing 🥴

14:29 you are a real young Casper David Friedrich here like in his painting "wanderer above the sea of fog". I really like this one :) good job boy

This is one of your best, to date. My goodness, every shot required so much skill and patience to capture. I almost cried at the end.
