You obviously had a great community of friends and family helping you and it definitely shows in the final result. Great job.

Grateful mine is still alive and I sometimes think of what I'll do when it comes to building something, fixing something, working on the truck when he's gone. Not so much because I won't know what to do or won't be able to get through it, but because that's where we've bonded most in my lifetime. He taught me a lot about making a mundane or difficult task fun and that anything done right is worth doing. Thanks Dean.
This is legitimately one of the best homes I have ever seen, damn close to my dream home. Incredibly inspiring, thank you so much for showcasing it. As a fellow surfer, I especially love how many spots there are to just kick back and chill... After a couple of hours in the waves, chilling just takes on a whole other meaning! I noticed that Volvo too. I had a 1986 model that lasted 19 years. I wish I never traded it in for a car for my husband. Volvos are my favorite car having had 5 of them in my lifetime.

I watch a few minutes of this and the “what ifs” abound. I had an interest in surfing a little too late in life well not really too late but you really have to set yourself up sooner to know what you want. I didn’t realize this until I got into my 40s. I’m definitely a procrastinator don’t know where I belong in this world hell I don’t even know I wanna do in this world and I’m already in my 50s. now I still dream just nothing becomes concrete. but where it started off in this video, for this guy to know that that property was it, I’ve been waiting for a moment like that my whole life either with a job, relationship or just where to live. So I watch this video and it’s beautiful that it encourages me to keep looking but also kind of feel a little depression that someone like him can find this and I can only wish I could.
I could very easily live in the barn! It is a stunning piece of architecture and the warm inviting wood and that top floor, oh my just to sit and watch the ocean would be incredible. It would be enough to stimulate my creativity.
