Very interesting ship. I found the permit to build the Refit version but I didn't know what Refit meant. Glad I didn't sell the permit before watching your video

Save up your doubloons and you can eventually try out ship building yourself, it's quite addictive

Yeah, your NA Painter series is really excellent though! I use it all the time to check what paints are available for different ships
Absolutely would love to see more "reviews"! I remember playing the Alphas and Betas, getting up to the Surprise in the Battle beta, which was so much fun (getting a 20v20 trafalgar battle was amazing, miss that a lot, wish we could have just a straight team deathmatch again...is it in the game? O.o)
The Trafalgar battles were removed long before I started playing, and nothing like them has come back to the game unfortunately. Next review looks like it's gonna be the pirate frigate, so I'll get on that soon.

A lot of people in my faction are saying that boarding is harder with the new patch, is this build still viable on the new patch, I recently acquired a Le Gros Ventre and might model it in a similar way even though it's not a built one, but if boarding is harder I might go for firepower instead. Thanks KairoS!
The build still seems to work, but you really need boarding books more than ever now. I always take at least a book of five rings and marines with this ship.
Can LGV Refit enter enemy ports? I heard a myth that this ship, not really being classed as trader ship, is able to enter enemy ports and sell stuff there.
Also do you recommend getting the Painter DLC now that is on 50% sale?
Yes, I believe LGV Refit should still be able to enter enemy ports as long as you have no other warships in your fleet.
As for the Painter DLC, I would say it is worth it if you want some variety for your ships. Norseman_53 did a Naval Action Painter series on his channel if you want to look up the paint schemes before you purchase.
@@kairos4486 Now that I know I will probably hunt a LGV Refit for myself, it looks really nice. Also I recently came back to this game, didn't really work out for me last time I played but with your guides and reviews the game feels more enjoyable. Love your work 👍
I still scratch my head over those that play on f2p servers that wipe every 3 or 6 months on a very grindy game & the fact the dev's still dont allow people to pay for game & join the peace or war servers, totally mad tbh.
I doubt they'll reopen the war server. Cause they know if they do, the f2p server will be instantly dead haha
This game is terrible, you can build a ship from the most expensive and rare woods and get a random crap port bonus.
Crafting is broken.
