    Such an amazing amp. Great review. The clean sound at the beginning was lush. Definately one of the better reviews of this amp

    Especially with driving in cities being continously a big pain, this is a great and very mobile amp for clubs etc.
    Thanks for the review!

    Thank you for not just noodling around on the clean channel the whole time and actually showing what the dirty channel can do

    This thing is amazing. A great blues amp. A true workhorse, very consistent without the headaches of tubes. I own it and love it. SRV tones galore!!!

    The best review I've heard on the Blues Tube is the one by the late Mike Casswell for Guitar Interactive. Take a listen Mike was a wonderful player. P

    Attempt? It blows away the Blues Jr. and the venerable Deluxe Reverb although 2 channels would be n better. I have this amp because the Stage 60 is just a bit pricey for me. I survive on Social Security. I use my Boss dual latching/momentary pedal to activate the tone and boost.

      It is a combo amp. Doesn't connect to a head.

    You know, I like this amp and I was considering purchasing it. However, the more I hear it the more I realize my $99 Fender Champion 20 sounds better and it even has FX like several different reverb's, chorus, flange, vibrato and tremolo with a direct control over the volume and tempo of the effects.
    I guess because the Fender was only $99 I failed to appreciate just how good it is. But after hearing some $500 amps I now appreciate my Champion 20. Oh it's not my only amp but is is a nice small and portable amp with great tone, many different amp voices and many FX. Me likey! Better sound and less money. What's not to like.
    I think Fender is so good and the Solid State and Modeling amps are priced so well many of us ignore them. When in truth they are superior amplifiers.

      Fender Champion 20 does not sound better than this amp, that's your opinion only. It doesn't make it fact.

      Dear Fets Dor, why do you state the obvious? Everything anyone says about how good a guitar amp sounds in relationship to another guitar amp, including "YOU" is only expressing their opinion!
      Furthermore Dear Fets Dor, all opinions are subjective and can't be construed as the truth, including yours.
      Dear Fets Dor, do you think that perhaps when anyone on the earth makes a comment here on TH-cam that we all should preface the comment with "In my opinion"? Well do you Fets? Or do you, can you perhaps give us credit with having enough intelligence to understand that it goes without saying that what we say one way or another about a guitar amp sounding better than another different guitar amp, is only our opinion, and that it does not imply or make it a fact? Well, do you dear Fets? Can you do that for us?

    That moment when you review a blues amp and dont play any blues.

      It's very much more than a "Blues Amp." It goes from pristine clean to really fat distortion. It is Very Loud at 30 watts. Great for smaller clubs.

    The Orange Crush 35rt sounds better to me. That could be, in part, because it's less expensive, I admit. 😏

      Not exactly the same kinda amp right? Lol The Roland is going for a Bassman and tube sound, which it does great! The Orange is just a good solid state amp but doesn't operate like a tube amp should. Plus, Orange amps have a very distinct sound and that's what the Crush 35rt is going for.

    i have no idea what Roland/Boss business plan ... they got blues cube, they have great jazz chorus combo, why do people need "hot" version, again?? .... why won't they focus making good affordable pedal that sounds amazing like 5150, plexi drive or angry charlie ....

    • @sinjon
      @sinjon 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The hot version is compete with the blues junior but the sound and look of it. They're both the same size and many videos compare them. These are small and light yet still very gigable amps.

    Yep sounds terrible, glad I got the Katana, my local music shop wants 699.00CAD for this!! Are you kidding me???!! Makes me love my Katana even more

    • @JohnsDough1918
      @JohnsDough1918 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, just no. CAD prices are insane for music gear in general, but the Blues Cubes are way better in construction than any of the Katanas.

  • @kariahola463
    @kariahola463 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Go for Katana instead. You'll get more of everything with less cash.

    • @sid35gb

      Kari Ahola I own a katana and have played on a blues Cube currently got a stage on order. The Katana is useful if you don’t know what different effects do and don’t have the money buy lots of pedals. But the katana doesn’t react to how you play the same way as the Blues Cube does.
      On the katana having lots of effects that aren’t as easily adjustable on the fly (something you can do with a real pedal) doesn’t make it better. Also there’s a lot of effects you won’t use.

    sounds like shite... might be the humbuckers tho. why use a gibson??? sheesh

    • @DerpRulesAll
      @DerpRulesAll 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      An awful lot of guitars use humbucker pickups. So that means this amp doesn't work with all of those guitars? I think it just doesn't sound good to some people, and there's nothing wrong with that.
