Actually, the Hatchery will cost 305 minerals, as you wasted those 5 being held by the drone.
Or not because you never got these 5 minerals
That's why I autistically always only select drones that don't hold minerals when building any structure.
Or 355? For the drone itself?

Didn't know about that spine trick, but it is pretty cool. I could see frustration from the other guy if he didn't understand how it worked. Hopefully he check out the video to see what actually transpired in the match.

@@LatMajare that spine trick exist since broodwar but, spine crawlers doesn't exist during that time and you need to upgrade the creep colony to sunken colony so it will die before it even finish
I have no clue at all but it should be like the Toss buildings: Only active while supported by special structures (toss) and slimy ground (Zerg)…
He automatically jumped to "I don't understand it, so it *must* be cheating. Better flame them." I seriously doubt he actually checked.

The 1st match made me laugh so hard my sides hurt. The 2nd match just made my head hurt.
That laugh after 3:20 was positively evil... love it. = )
The lost resource held by the drone are how Amon started his hybrid program since no one would fund him.
He was using move command to try to wrap around the terran forces, in order to prevent them from escaping. The execution was a bit sloppy but it still worked.
Lowko: I don't want to go too deep into conspiration theories.
Also Lowko: shows us that in fact 2Pac was killed by leader of lizard people.

yo my emotions weren't prepared for another Tupac death
I've seen pro players send a drone to a gold base, mine some gold minerals, and then use that drone to build a hatchery. It made me wonder for the longest time if the held minerals counted towards the cost of the hatch. Thanks for clearing it up, Lowko.
If zerg players do that, and Terran MULEs sometimes fall apart while holding minerals, does that make Protoss the most efficient miners?
The funny thing for me watching, they are still better then I have ever been at this game. But watching so many Pro Games you have hosted, its still leagues different.

At low level Zerg will always have more unit generally if you are lazy on macro when you start to queue unit as Terran they pop one by one or two by two but Zerg can pop 30 unit at the same time if they get a lot of ressources

Serious problem of zerg buildings cost:
the cost of building +
the drone cost +
the amount of lost money what could be mined, but instead drone was building something +
minerals in drone's arms +
time to reach the building area (equal to number 3)

Lowko often says that Hydras suck against Battlecruisers. But after he says that, Hydras always own Battlecruisers. Even in pro games.

Lowko I have never played SCII but used to play the orginal a long time ago. Enjoy watching your streams. Keep it up. I actually really like the viewer streams. Shows people the huge skill gap in this game. Cool idea though. Doing a live stream with a bronze and try coaching them during a gold/silver player live match.

I like those Gold heroes series. Very amusing to watch. I think "trash talking" is fine, most people wont get offended as they know they dont play very well.
I want to congratulate Lizardking (The Doors are his walk-on band at the GSL ;) for not leaving the game once the cloaked Banshees showed up. I don't know much about Tupac, may he rest in peace, but as he is a veritable "Grand Master" recording artist, he would NEVER have floated his last building to the corner of the map with no units. (cue the Game of Thrones "Shame" sound effect ^_^)

I was bad at this game, like gold 2 as much level, but alway did build orbitals. Okay my micro and macro bad, but always had orbitals commands

Oh man, a missed opportunity to get the name 'TupacShakuras'
You know, I don't even know why such a supposedly modern RTS like SC2 doesn't have a special hotkey for attack move. It has key for attack, and when you click with it on ground, then it's attack move. But it happens to me, and it happens to pros too, that you choose attack, and then accidently click on something other than empty space. Which is easy, because there is often some units where there is action. In the best case, you attack on one enemy unit, and then your entire army ignores the army of the opponent until that unit is killed. In worse case, you click on your own unit. And the same happens, only you destroy your own stuff.
