2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk - Features Review

- In this video, Charles Wiles gives a Quicklook tour of the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. You'll notice right away that it's appearance is quite different than the traditional Cherokee. It features 2 tow hooks on the front, 1 tow hook on the back, a matte black hood decal, matte black aluminum alloy wheels, upgraded suspension, and upgraded sway arms.
Even though the 2017 is an off road capable vehicle, it still comes loaded with plenty of comfort and convenience features such as: leather appointed seats, heated element, hands free bluetooth, steering wheel radio controls, auto dimming headlights and a best-in-class 8.4 inch color touch screen monitor.
It comes equipped with Jeep's Selec-Terrain knob allowing you to easily adjust to different 4WD modes. Under the hood is a 3.4L V6 matted up against Chrylser's 9 speed automatic transmission. This will give you a great mixture of fuel economy and power.

what the different from the 2016 trailhawk?

The black hood decal is a deal killer for me. Not sure who thought that was a good idea. You know it will fade over time and makes waxing a pain.
WVFreebyrd: The black hood decal is flat color not shiny so the sun does not reflect off the hood. I personally find that a nice feature!

Very basic review... most of the features mentioned aren't Trailhawk or 2017-specific. What about the ventilated seats? The change to HID headlights this year? Those are 2 major standard features, esp. the headlights. The '14-'16 models had awful night visibility.

Looks like they went through the JC Whitney catalog to add $20,000 worth of useless accessories. Which is about how much overpriced the Cherokee Trail Hawk is. Cars are not worth Forty-five GRAND, they just are not.
Gregarious Solitudinist I have a fully loaded 2017 cherokee trailhawk that was 43k and I love it and would say it's worth it. The trailhawk is an amazing vehicle that really feels like a mercedes on the inside (its even nicer than my fully loaded Cadillac cts with the luxury package that I owned before) and is very capable off road. It is my favorite out of all of the cars that I have ever owned and I usually buy a new car every 2 years so I have owned a lot. I will keep this one much longer
