  • Here's an in-depth review on the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with approximately 8,400 miles. This vehicle has several upgrades, including an AFE engine air intake, a rear suitcase muffler delete, LED fog and HID headlights supplied by Xenon Depot, and various Plasti Dipped badges and trim pieces throughout the vehicle that not only enhance the exterior appearance, but the performance as well. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with its comfortable on-road manners, solid feel, and commendable off-road ability that make it one of the best all-around crossover SUVs in the segment. Please post an questions comments in the section below the video. I hope you enjoy this full in-depth review on the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2L Pentastar V6 engine!

    Thank you for keeping this available! I’m looking at a used 2018 right now. Feel like I have a leg up on the sales folk.

    Good recommendation on forgoing the pano sunroof. I've wanted a Cherokee w the pano sunroof and finally started shopping for one and sat in the back seat. I'm 5'9" and couldn't sit straight as my head had to lean towards the center of the vehicle! Majorly disappointed that they made the roof so low (other vehicles w pano sunroofs are not that low).

    I’ve got one, exact color and package. The first thing I did was put a bull bar on the front and mount LED pod lights on it and it makes the front end way more aggressive

    How did you modify the muffler, and do you recommend a certain brand?

    I have watched many car reviews, and I must say that this one was very good. Extremely thorough. You are very knowledgeable. I would like to have a car salesman as knowledgeable as you are.
    FYI..., the plug in the back is referred to as a 120 volt plug. Other than that... bang up job!
    Thanks so much!

    Hi, could you please advise if i should get 2.4 or 3.2. I really like the trailhawk but the mileage is making me nervous otherwise i would have chosen the sport model. If I get 2.4, what is the actual mpg we get. I could check it on google but i wanted to ask someone who is actually driving it.

      Anshul Dhawaria So this Cherokee Trailhawk is owned by JackAttack13 (that's his TH-cam username). If you direct message him, he should give you an answer. From what I remember, he got 19 mpg on average and 23-24 mpg on the highway. I think the V6 is worth it, because you only give up 1-2 mpg over the 4-cylinder, but you gain 2 seconds in 0-60 mph acceleration.

      Anshul Dhawaria you want the v6 due to the weight of the vehicle if you want it just for pavement 4cylinder will work but if want to use it like a jeep the v6

      Hi. This is my Cherokee!
      I went to AFE Power for my intake. Their kit replaces the entire intake all the way up to the throttle body. The K&N is just a pod filter

      ALIENxXxWARE nice! Do you feel any gain in power? I'm thinking of doing the same. Also is there a way how you did the muffler delete? I'm new to this, help would be really appreciated man!

    Anybody know what the little N button is for, it's near the terrain driving options button?

    • @campingclarks
      @campingclarks 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's for flat towing the jeep. It may have other uses but we have this exact jeep and we use that tiny N button to put the transfer case into neutral to flat tow behind our motorhome.

    I want to know more about the transmission. I was looking into getting a Cherokee after receiving one as a rental however after some browsing on the web it seems like the transmission is a lemon and has resulted in a class action law suit...

    • @BornToDriveOfficial
      @BornToDriveOfficial  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MrBradican I know the 2014-2015 Cherokees had a lot of issues with the transmission, but the owner who has this 2016 model has had no problems. I've also heard the V6 engine is a better match for the transmission, as it doesn't need to shift as often to get needed acceleration and power

    • @MikeStoddart
      @MikeStoddart 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the i4 and V6 use different transmissions but I don't know if the problems were specific to either or both of these.

      I bought mine ealier this year and the price has gone down considerably from the price listed here. Of course, mine was used but I love it! Just wish I knew how to drive it like it should be driven.
