Praise God. the light and giver of faith and salvation through being made new, self growth, etc. This happened to me too. 14.5 years married to a vulnerable & covert narcissist. it got really bad. Deep trauma bond and deep emotional betrayal. completely a one sided relationship…. it was extremely traumatizing

A lot of times, if we dig deep enough, we discover we are actually looking at ourselves in the mirror thru someone else. Have you even considered that you may be doing the same thing to others? Jesus suggested turning the other cheek. Also: "take the log out of your own eye....."

Yes….this, ROOTED in scripture (Philippians 4:6-9 for instance), MINDSET is a gift from the Holy Spirit! It takes lots of trust in who God says He is and God will do what He says He will do! There is FREEDOM in trusting in Jesus Christ and having the mind of Christ. Don’t dismiss what this message is saying….this kind of thinking is possible ONLY by the Holy Spirit especially if it is a struggle you have had for years and are now on the other side!

Proverbs 4:23 requires burglar guards to be placed on your heart, this is what is helping me cope with rejection from some close family members. I thought of sending a message, stating I understand their behavior and I will step away, I found this video and whether or not CS Lewis wrote this or not, I'm doing exactly what is being said, feeling good about my decision. This advice is really only valid for adults, and it’s most helpful for adults who already have a solid grounding in their own sense of self worth and self-confidence. If you were heinously abused as a small child to the point where you became terrified and developed PTSD, you will not have the knowledge, skills, self-awareness, self-control and self possession to “act like it didn’t hurt you.”

I won’t even watch this. First of all - talk to people. Tell them how it feels. It will only pop up later after the relationship is ruined. This is what these bots want. To ruin mankind. Have it out with the person after a cool down period. The outcome might be the same- but at least you can move on!

Why every vedio photo of C.S Lewis is seen with him smoking?was he a smoker?if so,then how is he being taken as a Christian motivator?

Tobacco isn't mentioned in the Bible. Lewis was indeed Christian. Do what Jesus told you to do: don't judge or you will be judged. Look at the log in your own eye and not the mote in Lewis's eye. Cast a stone ONLY if you are without sin

NOT C S LEWIS. There is a disclaimer but most people don't see it.
How can we get TH-cam to stop allowing this misinformation?
i was spending much time on TH-cam watching content of my interest to actually learn something. Now I 'm out. I will be back, when TH-cam get some serious publicist policy.

What if you read where Paul the apostle told us God chooses the nothings or nobodies of the world to confound the wise. Most of us are nothings, nobodies, VIPons. There is One that is good, that is God. Jesus says we are worth more than birds but we are still the nothings, nobodies, the clay, that God chooses to confound the wise... in their own eyes. But when our enemies make us feel like the nothings we are we hate them or ourselves for it. But ... they are nothings too. They are nobodies too. They are are no better than you. They just think they are. So why don't we take it personally when God tells us through Paul that we are nothings but we are hurt when our enemies say it? Why?

These may be Lewis's sentiments, but they are not his words. Lewis would never have used the word "doom-scrolling" since that did not exist in his lifetime. I am concerned that the video is a bit misleading about Lewis actual thinking.

This is information on self help. If we could change ourselves we would have already. C S Lewis was a Christian and in all of his writings, etc teaches we can only be changed with the help and power of Jesus Christ. Listen to any of the real C S Lewis teachings and you will see what he really believed, knew and experienced.

    • @chrisanok9283

My daughter has finally left her cheating boyfriend and moved back home. But he's now love bombing her and she seems to be giving in. This enrages me and I've been lashing out at her for being ignorant ( not saying that to her ) also absolutely screamed at him telling him he never deserved my daughter and he was cheating lying scheming son of a bitch. 😢I lost it. I don't want to forgive him. What would you all do...

When you read the description it says "Altered or synthetic content."
People can't be replaced. CS Lewis was a brilliant writer and thinker. I don't need AI to fill in for him.

Synthetic content is a perfect description. The messages are an amalgamation of many brilliant works, and despite the repetition in this particular piece, very positive. So the concepts are excellent, I just prefer a real human Interface.
Also for longer videos such as these. ..how many minutes are needed to hack your device?? 😅😆😆
