I'm glad Alicia wasn't hating on Joshua the whole time. His attempts to make Finn toughen up are questionable, but you have to remember dogs grow up a lot faster than humans. I mean, Jake's already had a full life and acts like he's in his 30's, but he's really the same age as Finn. So it make sense that Joshua would be worried Finn wasn't growing up fast enough despite him still being a baby. He wasn't perfect, but he still loved his kids dearly.

Whenever they show Princess Bubblegum towering over Finn like they do at the start of 26, it really highlights how obviously impossible his crush is. A lot of early stuff in the show makes it seem like it could be possible until you see shots like that where its just so clear.

PB always used to see Finn's crush as something cute and silly that flattered her, but as Finn grew older, his romantic affections towards her stopped seeming cute and started seeming more creepy.
