Fujitora wanting to see Luffy's face is maybe one of the most underrated wholesome moments in the entire series. He's such a good boy and the world is slowly starting to see it.
Always love this interaction between Law and Sengoku. To him, he isn’t talking to a Pirate. He’s speaking to the boy his Son died for and is able to honor his dead son’s memory with. Two years ago, this would be done in a prison cell but now Sengoku has that Garp Freedom that gives him the opportunity for this peaceful conversation. One might even go as far to say that Law to Sengoku could be the same as Ace to Garp.
You me both the significNt of what he said he blinded himself for all the evil he saw was to much but not enough to make him quit yet regret to see such face is so heavy
Orlumbus has my favorite bilingual puns in the series: instead of Columbus ("ko" being a prefix related to small things) it's Oh-lumbus, or "The Big Lumbus" 😂 His fleet is the Yon-ta Maria, instead of San-ta Maria, as it seems that Oda wanted to one-up Columbus.
Funny enough the actual Columbus is a character and the only member we see from his grand fleet besides random soldiers. As expected, she fits the ko prefix becuse she’s just a young small girl, but was entrusted by Orlumbus to take care of the fleet while he was in Dressrosa. It’s in a manga cover story if you don’t remember seeing her.
@@GavinHintz The only reason I never forgot Columbus is because in the first translation I read the cover page made a mistake and subbed the duo as "the Odious Orlumbus and Fastidious Columbus on cleaning day" it was so weird, dumb and silly it never left my memory.

Probably because be knows too many secrets, Sengoku wasn't allowed to just become a civilian, so he was reassigned as a "General Inspector" living that retired life. He's always hard at work, inspecting those rice cracker bags or inspecting some udon noodles. Seeing Sengoku care for his effective son so much that he's letting Law go and honoring him 13 years later...maybe that's the real reason he's so chill since he arrived in Dressrosa. He probably wanted to personally come for Rosinante to begin with. The piece of shit who killed his boy has finally been taken down and had his whole operation ruined. It's bound to take a weight off your shoulders and put a pep in his step.
In my last comment, I mentioned, Fujitora was forced to be an admiral as a captured from the Blue Kingdom defending itself, as a War Criminal so he is going to be as disobedient as he can be while technically following orders. It's revealed in SBS, which is an interview of authors notes, not in the manga or anime. He was a high ranking defense officer captured by the World Government forced to fill the 2 Vacant slots when Akainu got promoted.
@Charley-ju6yg They were simply a kingdom in the Grandline and they could have held the people hostage. There is no confirmation he had the Zushi Zushi no mi as the Defense officer but he held his position seriously to the point he got captured as an asset. From what we see, he is a dutiful person and takes responsibility in all his choices. He is also designed after 2 Kurosawa films Zatoichi (his appearance and role the blind samurai who was a body guard for the Yakuza) and Yojimbo fist full of Dollars a mercenary who got irresponsible with wealth(his attitude with money in gambling once he became an admiral) Once he had funding he did not like dishonest people compromising his role so he became distrusting after his capture. We know CP9 and some of the admirals were given their fruits at the appointment of their position so it's easy to assume the Blue Kingdom is being held hostage by the World Govt so he has to obey orders. He notes he blinded himself due to seeing atrcocities he witnessed in his lifetime so if he saw his capturer's hold his people hostage and he blinded himself in retaliation to make himself less of an asset, it would make sense.
@@blazingbarreljay137 The Ao Kingdom was destroyed in the war he participated in, there's nothing left to be held hostage. Afterwards, Issho drifted his way into a gambling den and lost his arse, forcibly becoming employed as a bodyguard. The World Government drafted him into service and immediately promoted him to admiral. He was basically like a Kozuki Oden before he was drafted, just wandering and around and relying on his monstrous strength to get by.
@hughmungus8701 he was the chief defense officer of the Kingdom. After the war in the Kingdom internally, he probably witnessed people's greed for the scraps. He still slaughtered dozens of either rebellious citizens or world government soldiers because he was considered a War Criminal at the time of recruitment. The reason he probably recalled his agression toward Luffy even with his virtue was the fact Luffy fixed a broken kingdom and prevented the people from fighting over the scraps after doflamingo was taken out and won his respect along with his interaction at the gambling house.
To me Fujitora after every he saw took his own sight and than regretting it because he wants to see luffy’s kind face…. Idk why but that scene really gets me everytime it’s one of the best moments in one piece to me
36:53 And since Ussop is part of Luffy's crew, then this yet another example of a version of one of Ussop's tall tales coming true. How many followers did he once claim to have?
Introducing the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, you will be seeing more of them in the future. Anyway, with this, we just have some lingering threads to take care of and the Dressrosa will finally have finished and the Adventure of the New World will start for real with all preparations over.
Fujitora roll, the dice It’s always a one any other navy men roll the dice It’s something else. It’s anyone else’s fate to go after that man but not him
2:22 And what I also want to know is - does Sengoku know the actual truth or a story put about to hide that truth but he doesn't know that and thinks he knows the actual truth? Does that make sense? Does anyone get what I mean?

Love the interactions Fujitora has with Luffy :D
Looking forward to the next ep drop!
Lets be honest sengoku even if he knows something about the meaning of "D" he doesn't care after all one of his closest friends is monkey "D" garp.
How tf did they capture him?? At the very they must have had to have an admiral there to take him down
@Charley-ju6yg They were simply a kingdom in the Grandline and they could have held the people hostage.
Idk why but that scene really gets me everytime it’s one of the best moments in one piece to me
Fujitora continues to be amazing.
even law there to shambles it, fujitora just can keep doing it again and again with extra meteors too
Thanks for this.
Such a comparison to the secret victory of Alabasta.
Fujitora's backstory would be brutal to us for sure
Also, Alicia, do watch Zatoichi movies, or at least, his gambling and sword fight scene
5600 people under his command?
My my... It almost sounds like something an Emperor would have...
The fleet was sooo OH SHIT moment for me
It's a good thing every house in dressrosa is empty or people are going to have a hard time finding there stuff after Fujitora globed there city.
Also remember when Usopp said he had more than 5000 people following him?
"i want to see your face" fujitora my goat
To be fair I imagine someone like Law most likely would be able to give Fuji back his sight with the surgery
Barto trying to pull back Zoro looks like that devil on your shoulder. Unfortunately zoro is worse than any devil.
That's why fujitora is our goat!
Excited for one piece to be her number one. It’s inevitable
We are now 5 episodes away (not counting filler) from meeting Best Girl❕️
Everyone: "Luffy! He's a Warlord!"
Luffy: "Don't care."
Everyone: "Luffy, he's an Admiral!"
Luffy: "Still don't care."
if watched all the one piece episode tha are out and that fight luffy had with fujitora has got to be one of my favourites
Zoro wanted to square up but got lost on his way towards him
Straw Hat Monkey D. Luffy, Future King of the Pirates- And accommodator to the disabled!
I hope Fujitora becomes the new fleet admiral in the end after Akainu dies (it’s gonna happen one way or another)
19:43 This shit always cracks me up
DON'T FORGET TO LIKE THE VIDEO
I'm just a comment, but don't pay attention to me and go your way.
28:09 if it was akaino he would have done it
Fujitora roll, the dice It’s always a one any other navy men roll the dice It’s something else. It’s anyone else’s fate to go after that man but not him
6:30 Naruto reference.

2:22 And what I also want to know is - does Sengoku know the actual truth or a story put about to hide that truth but he doesn't know that and thinks he knows the actual truth?
Does that make sense?
