Hello again my gardener friend, thanks for making this very helpful informative interesting video! Vernonia amygdalina is the bitter bitterleaf, and the Vernonia hymenolepis is the sweet bitterleaf. I am still looking for both varieties of bitterleaf but still no luck yet. I've asked many reputable growers to try to source the seeds. Amirah, owner of Sistah seeds, said she will try to find source so she can grow for stock, I also communicated with Truelove seeds to source both. Truelove seeds does have waterleaf (Efo Gbure) Talinum triangular, and garden huckleberry (Njama Njama) Solanum scabrum seeds which I have ordered.
You have given me a good education on the scientific names of these veggies. Finding our African veggie seeds out here is quite hard as you have noticed. Thanks for reaching out to those 2 companies. I am happy to share some sweet bitterleaf seeds and a few stems of the bitter bitterleaf with you. You can reach me @ ngumgardenpossibilities@gmail.com
