The reason why other rappers aren't as vocal about their success is because deep down they know they needed producers, mixers, masters, engineers, publicists, and a label behind them just to make their content chart. Russ was a literal millionaire before he ever signed a 50/50 partnership with Columbia. No rapper is bragging about their success because if they get too bold, they're going to have 20 sound engineers telling them how wack their shit is and how they are responsible for revamping their sound. Hate it or not, Russ created and molded his own sound. Drake can't say that, Kendrick can't say that, not even J Cole can say that.
