Agreed! I don't even like that video looking down! I'm okay in an aircraft, but not some tower! Even videos of looking down from high places where they base-jump bothers me! I also really get that "sinking" feeling!
You've really given some great angles without giving a slanted view of this exquisite property. I'm inclined to have slant towards not liking it, but I'm leaning to loving it, if there's not a dip or drop in real estate values in relation to the area gradient. Without sliding into a diatribe on falling values, I am inclined to think the decline will level out, because it's obviously on a solid foundation.
I want to see someone put a marble on the floor and see how it rolls. Also a bubble level. I can't imagine living somewhere where there's a 2-foot lean. 😮😮

This video has fantastic music! It is so somber and sophisticated, that it functions well as a way for the penthouse owner to show off their crib ... as well as good music for a video obituary and dedication to the last owner of the penthouse after the building collapses in the next earthquake.
Due diligence isn't just for big business deals. We all need to do some analytical thinking for many of our decisions: selling, buying, changing jobs, taking out a loan, choosing where to live. When we're kids our parents do the thinking for us. When we become adults life gets much trickier.
Is this the same building that’s got a crack in it due to structural issues? It looks so beautiful but San Francisco has a ticking time bomb attached to it especially this building.
San Francisco itself is a ticking time bomb: homelessness, untreated public mental illness, untreated drug addiction, uninhibited use of illegal narcotics, open-air drug markets, public urination & defecation, public/political corruption & greed, etc., etc., etc...
jntj oh god shut up non of that happens in rich neighborhoods like this area of downtown that’s only in a small part of the city that houses the cities low income people. I love living here. I’m watching this right now I’m very high up on the tower. I love it living at the millennium tower. The views are the best snd with the weather lately it’s awesome. My office is close by as well. If your looking to buy here it’s so worth it.
I'll be surprised if the building doesn't have to eventually be torn down. In the meantime, make sure your furniture is bolted to the floor to keep it from sliding off to the northwest. :/
No one in their right mind would ever invest in an apartment in this building. It is a very sad situation but at least it happened to ultra-wealthy people this time instead of the common person (which is the norm in the USA). But look at this penthouse! It is almost obscene in its lack of any humanity or warmth. It reminds of the waiting room in a doctor's office. Devoid of all delicacy and elegance - a cold humanless industrial style for psychopaths who had to claw their way literally to the top of the world to afford this "I've arrived - look at me" penthouse. I've seen more human warmth at a Wells Fargo ATM.
The people who buy these are well connected and will find a way to get someone else {taxpayers} to pay for their mistake. 100 million is being spent on the fix and the developers are blaming the construction of the city transit station next door. That isn’t the cause of the tilt, but I think they may have succeeded in getting the city to agree to pay. Corruption from top to bottom.
Not ultra wealthy. A lot of these apartments were purchased for $1.7 to 1.9 Million if I remember. Here that is barely the price of an average house (median home price).
A nice little apartment with a remarkable view over the beautiful city of San Francisco! Is it just me or is the Millennium Tower indeed leaning a little bit to the nortwestern side?

When buildings this big start to lean, elevators will get stuck and some doors may be impossible to open due to pressure of the door frame from one side. One of the park avenue super thin buildings in NYC regularly has stuck elevators due to wind bending the building. So basically people are going to die if it starts to go.
