DIY KIMONO DRESS/Bathrobe from scratch - Me-made summer collection - Ep 5

It's Jess here and welcome back to my channel. Today's video, I'm going to share with you how I made this Kimono dress or Bathrobe from scratch.
It's a perfect dress for summer that you can wear as a casual outfit or swimming cover at the beach.
To make this dress, you can check some of my basic information here:
- Sewing machine: Merrit Joyful Sewing
- Material: 2m of loose linen in printing yellow color
- My body size: 82-64-92. I usually wear Small size and I'm 165cm
This's the fourth outfit from my Me-made summer collection. So I hope you guys will like it and try it out. And if you do it, don't forget to take a photo with it and join me in the "Me-made summer challenge". A very special gift from me will be sent to the top 3 DIYs in the end of this challenge.

Aw yes, I've been so excited for this! I'm taking my last university exam later today and then I'll finally have time to go fabric shopping and start on the DIY ^^ Thank you for the tutorial!
I have a question tho, in case I can't find linen fabric (we don't have a lot of fabric stores in my area), can you recommend something that would also work?
Other fabrics like cotton or silk is still worked

Would you consider putting inches (IN) beside your CM so we know the conversion? I love your DIYs. You don't use a lot of gadgets or patterns but your garments are gorgeous. You keep it simple.

Wow, this has been absolutely perfect for what I needed. What size is this, though? Just because I want to follow those measurements but I'm a size 8, so I'm not sure if this will fit me😂 sorry if that sounds rude.
It's Small size. I made it for my size. So if you have a bigger size, you can increase the width of the main body to make it bigger

Kimono was introduced to Japenise by Korean monk as funeral clothing in plain tan material color which Japenise copied it to make it into their own clothing with coloring because they had none.

For longer dress, I think you might need around 3m of fabric
