    It’s the best I have one ans I cook everything in it daily !!! It changed lot of my cooking habits 🙏
    NB the time should pause if you pull out to shake or anything then continues automatically when re inserted

    This was my second air fryer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . The last one worked fine but was large and a bit loud. This one is outstanding. It is smaller overall but still has plenty of capacity. It crisps the food better. You don't get one side soggy if you forget to turn it over. It is pretty quiet, easy to use, easy to clean, and works great. It chimes to alert you to functions, like when to turn over food that benefits from that. The automatic pre-heat is great. The display is large and easy to read, the light inside is actually useful. The window is worth the extra $10. It looks good sitting out on my counter. I haven't been this happy with an appliance for a long time. Good value for money.

    I think you are incorrect. The airfryer pauses when you pull the basket out mid cook to shake, and starts again when you push back in.

      It may have something to do with syncing the two zones, my ninja doesn't stop when removing the basket. I'll try to contact the manufacturer, if this depends on the particular model or iteration of the airfryer, then I'll update (or remove) this part of the video. Thanks for highlighting this.

    Great vid. I have one. I noticed the European version has upward firing heat exhaust ports in the back. I'm in North America, and these ports exhaust directly backward. I prefer the European design.

    00:06 🌟 Air fryers are popular for their energy efficiency, fast cooking, and ease of use.
    00:20 🍗 Air fryers can cook a variety of foods, from vegetables to crispy chicken wings.
    00:23 🔄 Air fryers are essentially powerful convection ovens.
    00:30 🍽 Focus on Ninja Dual Zone air fryer with a 10-quart capacity.
    00:49 👍 The Ninja air fryer is praised for its ease of use and lack of kitchen odors.
    01:08 🎯 Accurate temperature control and multiple cooking modes (air fry, bake, roast).
    01:21 🍟 Dual sides allow cooking different foods simultaneously, like chips and meat.
    01:33 🐔 Can cook two whole chickens, making it highly versatile.
    01:46 🧽 Non-stick coating is durable and easy to clean.
    02:08 📘 Some basic air fryer knowledge is needed for best results.
    02:28 ⏲ Cooking time is slower when using both sides; adjust accordingly.
    02:42 🌬 Keep the basket sides clear for proper airflow and crispness.
    02:53 🧼 Deep baskets mean less dirty coils compared to other air fryers.
    03:10 🔘 Tactile buttons on the control panel work flawlessly.
    03:22 🚫 Ninja doesn't stop cooking when a basket is removed; must manually press 'stop'.

    • @FamilyPopTV

      That's a very good point.
      Yes, if the teflon coating gets damaged in any way, there's a risk the teflon gets into the food, and that's potentially dangerous. Same as with teflon pans.
      That's why the basket inserts having the rubbers fitted into the corners to eliminate the damage to the coating.

      @@FamilyPopTV Teflon is no problem at all at those temperatures and higher temperatures that could cause potential health issues is not being nearly reached.

    How are you finding this airfryer? I just replaced my faulty breville air fryer oven with one 9f these but it doesn't come till next week. I'm frantically looking for a better one incised this isn't great lol. Im sure it is but as a family of 6 we need a large capacity one.
    I was looking at the instant pot versa dual, where it can be used as one huge basket and can use a divider to create 2x baskets, but it looks a lot more cheaply made to me.

      Hi there! My apologies for myalte reply, and congrats on your new Ninja Air Fryer. To answer your questions, yes, it's recommended to run the air fryer empty for 5-10 minutes before you use it for the first time. (It helps to burn off any manufacturing residue and get rid of any strange smells). You can set the temperature to anything between 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Can you take out the grate and make stew in it? I also have a rice maker, maybe I should use that for stew?

    • @FamilyPopTV
      @FamilyPopTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have never tried this myself, but I have seen a few people online who have done it (while researching for this review). So, yes, technically you can cook a stew in a Ninja air fryer once you remove the grate. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: - do not overfill the basket - and monitor the stew while it is cooking and stir it frequently. Otherwise, it may easily burn, as it cooks quickly with dry air. (Don't go too high with the temperature.)
      I apologize that I cannot be of more help. It may be a bit of a trial and error process, but it is certainly doable. I am currently testing a single-basket Ninja and preparing a review video. I may try cooking a stew and show it in the video. Let me know how it goes.

    what size chicken can you cook in this product. Can it take a large 2.2kg chicken?

    • @FamilyPopTV
      @FamilyPopTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. The ninja foodi max surely can fit a 2kg-2.2kg chicken, It has a total capacity of 9.5 liters (around 10 quarts), which is divided into two 4.75 liter drawers.
      We've been cooking a corn fed chicken which was around 2kg, and it fits easily, so my guess, 2.2kg shouldnt be a problem. Hope it helps.

      @chrisostomosprodromou4784 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FamilyPopTV so does each compartment take a 2kg chicken or do you need to chop and use both buckets?

    • @FamilyPopTV
      @FamilyPopTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chrisostomosprodromou4784 No, you don't have to chop it, it'll fit.
      Today we got a small ninja (5.2L) delivered, so I'll be actually tempted to include cooking the whole chicken in this thing to the review.
      btw. I've seen a video on TH-cam, some bloke been cooking two whole chicken at once, obviously in two baskets simultaneously. I wouldn't really recommend it only because it will be a tight fit, and the chickens may not cook evenly.

    Is it worth it just buying the ninja dz550 instead of this one?

    • @FamilyPopTV
      @FamilyPopTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. These are basically the same ninjas (af400uk is the one in the video, with 9.5L capacity, which is 10Qt). The only difference is the detachable 'smart cook thermometer' in dz550.
      Also the one in the video is the 'amazon limited edition' and has bronze finish.
      Personally, I see some value in that smartcook thermometer, as it makes perfect sense to have it when cooking whole chicken of big chunks of raw meat

    Does it trip the Breaker

    • @FamilyPopTV
      @FamilyPopTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never had that issue. To make sure it won't happen, double check if you got an outlet with 15A circuit breaker (especially if other appliances are plugged into the same circuit).
      However, in case the ninja would cause the breaker to trip for some reason (very unlikely though), it may indicate the unit is faulty, so then customer service would be the option.

The ninja does not need to be paused when opening a basket whether it is on sync, match or totally using the baskets separately without using the above options, also, using both baskets does not extend the cooking time, I mean wtf 🤷🏻‍♀️. I have a ninja dual zone, it’s no harder to learn to use than any other air fryer, they all have instructions and guidelines but at the end of the day it depends on what you want to cook and you will learn the best times & temps whether you have a ninja or a different brand of air fryer.
