Stop reservations in merit systems first. It is being abused for ages now. What is the fault of more deserving general guy or girl who is sidelined by some barely eligible reserved Candidate? Hire those who are deserving, not those who are "oppressed". Minority doesn't make u eligible. Only give aid to poor for studies, that's all. Only monetory help, not free seat. Enough is enough. This system is destroying Indian progress forever.

If it is true that she used fake credentials, then law has already been violated. Is it the job of media and citizens to check the truth of credentials for all appointments?
If something wrong has happened in the recruitment it is the duty press and public to bring it out ..but the investigation will be done by the govt.

I am from Kerala Kannur district. In kerala my family only owns 10 cents of land and a house of 800 sqft.. Thats the reason we are not included in the EWS central list.. Anywhere in India if a starved citizen has a 5 cent and a shed in it.. He won't come in the list.. Even the officials make us fun claiming that no one in my state get into this list as government in kerala is giving atleast one house and 5cent of land through home schemes..Sad to see these realities😢

Scrape the upsc, only person who serve in army for at least one year eligible for ias, IPs post and reduce the tenure to 10 years

If you want suspend some one in government employee you should listen to her side by giving sufficient time,till then either she will posted some other office,that is they have done which is correct.otherwise it will be struck down by court
This case has got even more Murkier.
There are millions of general category people those who are below poverty line what is their fault just that they belong to general category and other side reserved side they have liberty of fullest what kind of a system is this

Will Puja Khedekar get away with it? My bet is that she will go scot-free or with a rap on the knuckles. Once the media attention dies down she will be back and continue to behave the same. Puja Khedekar is not alone, there are scores of IAS officers just like her... remember the IAS couple who vacated a stadium in Delhi so that they can walk their dogs.
There is urgent need ro reform the Civil service ,why can't a employment term like Agniveer can be implemented for Probatory Officers who should be put for a minimum of 4 years to prove their mindset n attitude to drive impact at rural districts to drive full impact of the government's schemes n policies reach the last mile of beneficiaries, given their performance they may be admitted to higher cadre of District collectors n magistrates etc. There is an entitlement attitude with coveted bureaucrat entering the office who gain authority, power, immediately after probation , they are privileged entitlement who get promotions n posting not by merit,.
Who will bell the cat? Another cat? IAS fellows will never agree to reforms.
